My Hour
My Hour – Healing
John 5:5-8
John 5:5-8 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”
9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
Jesus Christ visited the pool of Bethesda at the appointed hour to heal the sick person. He was sick for thirty-eight years and there was nobody to help him. He was in helpless condition and seeking who will help him and deliver him from sickness. He was suffering for a long time and very much disappointed.
At the right hour Jesus visited the pool of Bethesda and saw the sick person lying helpless and healed him the same hour completely. He visited the place to deliver Him from sickness and destruction. The sick person received healing and rejoiced and glorified God. What a great miracle and healing it is Jesus did at the appointed hour of healing. He will visit you in His hour and deliver you from all sickness.
My Hour – Life
John 11:14-15,39,43,44 Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead.
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless, let us go to him.”
39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
Lord Jesus is resurrection and life. He is eternal life. He heard the news that His friend Lazarus died, but did not go immediately to raise him up from dead. But Jesus waited for four days and said to His disciples now let us go Lazarus is dead.
The hour has come for Him to raise the Lazarus from dead. Though it was four days, yet it was possible for Him to raise Lazarus from dead. Nothing is impossible unto Jesus. He is the resurrection and life. So, Jesus came to the tomb where Lazarus was kept.
Jesus called the dead Lazarus to come out of grave. Immediately Lazarus came out of grave and is alive. Great thing happened and many saw it and believed in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ raised the dead at His hour. Though Martha and Mary were weeping Jesus came to help them at His hour.
My Hour – Rescued
John 6:16-21 Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
17 got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.
18 Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.
19 So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus’ walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.
20 But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”
21 Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
The disciples of Jesus Christ got into a boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark; Jesus had not come to them. At that time on the sea a great storm arose and the disciples were helpless and struggling to move forward. Great wind blowing and water entering into boat. The disciples were in the middle of the sea and struggling to move forward.
Darkness and storm covering them. They were afraid and do not know what to do. But Jesus saw them that they are struggling and helpless, at the appointed hour Jesus came near to them by walking on the sea. He has all power and authority over nature. He came to them to help them and rescue from all danger. He entered into the boat and immediately the boat was at the land and they all reached the destination safely.
What a great power Jesus had. He could walk on the raging sea and calm the storm and give deliverance to His disciples. He will come and help at His hour. Do not be afraid of any difficult situations in your life. Have faith in Him and be courageous. He will not leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you always.
Come to Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. Do not neglect the hour of His visitation. Accept Him as your savior. He will save you from all sin and destruction and give you eternal salvation and peace and joy. He will come to you and rescue you in all your trials and temptations. He will be your heavenly father and guide you in all your life and lead you into eternal glory.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
