Give Me Drink
Visitation
John 4:5-8
John 4:5-8 So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
2 Timothy 2:4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Lord Jesus Christ came to the world to save the sinners. He came to seek the lost. He came to serve but not to be served. He is compassionate God and gave His life on the cross to save all. He shed His precious blood on the cross and died and buried and rose again third day victoriously. He is God almighty seek to save all.
His will that all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. He desires that all must be saved and become children of God. He came to Samaritan woman to save her from her sinful life. He came in search of her to talk to her and lead her to the knowledge of truth. He asked the woman give Me a drink. It is asking her to pay attention to Him and listen and know the truth.
The truth is Jesus Christ is true messiah and He came to save the humanity. The woman believed in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as true messiah and invited Jesus to her village and told about Jesus to all. Many in the village saw Jesus and listen to His words and believed in Him and were saved.
What a great thing it is to know the truth and believe in it. When Jesus comes to you do not neglect His words but believe and be saved. His presence as Messiah is the hour of visitation and the woman recognized and believed. The hour of visitation is hour of opportunity to be saved from destruction and hell.
Give Me – Heart
Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.
Ezekiel 11:19-20 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Give Me – Obedience
1 Samuel 15:22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
Lord Jesus desire obedient heart and loyal to Him always. He will not delight in burnt offering and sacrifices. But He will delight in your obedience to Him and follow His commandments. Obedience is better than sacrifice, and to heed than fat of rams.
He desires your complete obedience to Him. Trust His word always and do accordingly. If you love Him then you will follow His commandments. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your strength and with all your soul. He is asking your obedience.
