Wind Blows

Born Again

John 3:7-8

John 3:7-8 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Lord Jesus Christ said you must be born again. Unless you are born again you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. You are dead in your trespasses and you must be alive spiritually to have relationship with true living God. By the grace of God you will be transformed and renewed spiritually and born again and alive. You will have right relationship with God.

When you confess your sins before Jesus Christ, He will graciously forgive you and cleanse you with His precious blood and give new life and new heart. You will be a child of God and member in God’s family. It is the Holy Spirit work in rebirth of a sinner and born again. The Holy Spirit act according to the will of God. It is not controlled by any human.

Just like the wind cannot be controlled by any man, the Holy Spirit will act according to His will. The Holy Spirit convicts a person to repent and will work in him the work of salvation. The Holy Spirit is sovereign and it works in mysterious way. You will know by its acts and its effects like the wind you hear sound of it but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Wind Blows – Righteousness

John 16:8-11 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

The wind Holy spirit will come and convict of righteousness. He will lead you into righteousness of God. He will convict you of sin in you and give righteous life. He will not remain silent in you when you do wrong, but will convict you and help you to confess and lead a righteous life.

The Holy Spirit will not be silent but continuously reprove and correct you when you do wrong and help you to understand the need for righteousness. He will lead you in the path of righteousness. He will help you to walk in holiness.

Wind Blows – Judgement

John 16:8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

The wind Holy Spirit helps you to acknowledge the coming judgement of God. It will lead you to true repentance and correction in your life. Judgement of God in each individual and in nation the Holy Spirit speaks and help you to understand the works of God. Satan will be judged and thrown into the lake of fire and those who follow Satan will face judgement of God and be in lake of fire.

The Holy Spirit will convict you of the judgement of God and help you to lead a life pleasing to God and walk in His will. The Holy Spirit will tell that every person will face judgement for their actions and words. He will help the believers to prepare for the day of judgement. For we all has to stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

Meditate on the precepts of God and contemplate His ways. Always live a separate life for Christ Jesus and He will be your father and guide you. Do not touch unclean. If you believe in light Jesus Christ, you will be a temple of God and God will dwell in you and walk among you and He will be your God. Your life will be full of light and no darkness and you will have wisdom of God.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Savior. He will give you true salvation and peace and joy. He will not leave you nor forsake you. He will guide you in right path always and lead you into eternal glory. He will meet all your needs and helps you in all trials and temptations and gives victory.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

  1. This really brings out the mystery of the Holy Spirit and how His work becomes evident in our lives. I especially liked the connection between the wind and the Spirit – unseen, yet clearly felt through His work in us. Blessings!

  2. A thoughtful reminder that being born again is not simply a change of outward behaviour, but a work of God within us. Jesus’ picture of the wind is powerful because we cannot see the wind itself, yet we can clearly see its effects. In the same way, the work of the Holy Spirit becomes visible through repentance, a changed heart, growing righteousness, and a life increasingly shaped by the will of God.

    The Spirit convicts us of sin, but He also leads us towards truth and righteousness. Our response is to remain humble before God, willing to be corrected, renewed and guided. May we never be content with simply knowing about Christ, but seek the transformed life that comes through truly following Him.

    Thank you for sharing this important message and for reminding us of Christ’s words: **“You must be born again.”**

    I have always loved the wind illustration because what strikes me about it is that Jesus chose something we cannot see, yet cannot deny. Nobody stands in a yard arguing that the wind does not exist while their hat is sailing down the street. We know it is there because something moves.

    The strongest evidence of the Spirit’s work is not always how much a person can explain about Him, but what begins moving in that person’s life. Conviction where there used to be excuses. Tenderness where there used to be hardness. A willingness to obey where there used to be resistance. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith” (Galatians 5:22).
