Jesus Christ Said Do Those Things That Please Him

Sunbeams shine through clouds over a lake with distant hills

Please Him

Will of God

John 8:29

John 8:29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.

John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Lord Jesus Christ is compassionate God. He came into the world to fulfill the will of the Father. He came to fulfill the will of the Father for humanity. He did the work of the Father according to His will. He did not come to fulfill His own will, but to fulfill the will of the Father.

The will of the Father is to save the humanity from the sin and redeem them through Christ Jesus. He sent His son. Jesus Christ said I have come into the world to fulfill the will of the father. He said I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Father in heaven. Fulfill the will of God to please Him. Always know the will of God in your life and walk according to His will and give glory to God.

Seek the will of God in heaven always and you will see great victory in your life always. If you walk in the will of God, He will be with you and guide you. If you are outside the will of God and walk according to your own will He will be away from you and you cannot please God. Walk in the will of God and please Him.

Please Him – Sacrifice

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to sacrifice His life on the cross and to save the humanity. His great sacrifice on the cross pleased Father in heaven. He shed His precious holy blood on the cross for the redemption of sin of the world. Whoever comes to Him and seeks mercy will be pardoned and get salvation. He gave His life to save all. He sacrificed His life, whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But Jesus Christ by His great sacrifice on the cross could save the sinners and bring back to God. He pleased the Father in heaven by great sacrifice for humanity. He bore all our sin and sorrows on the cross and died on the cross and buried and rose again third day victoriously. He who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved forever.

They will receive eternal salvation and joy. The sacrifice that pleases God in heaven. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind and walk pleasing to God. You present your bodies a living sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service. Complete dedication to God’s purposes. Commit your life to God and serve Him always and please Him.

Please Him – Faith

John 8:29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” John 16:31-32

31 Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?

32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the father is with Me.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Lord Jesus Christ when He was on the earth, He had faith in His Father in Heaven. His faith is great and trusted the Father always that He will deliver Him and help Him. The faith in Father pleased the father and Father was always with Jesus and guiding Him. He was telling what to do. Jesus says He speaks what father has taught Him.

He trusts Him finally when He said Father into your hands I commit my Spirit. It is He showing His complete trust in Father who can deliver. Jesus had faith to trust the father always. Though all has forsook but He remained firm in faith. He is perfect example of perfect trust and faith in God. He was perfect in all His ways and full of faith in His Father.

Always have faith in God and you will see great victory in your life. Without faith it is impossible to please God. He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He will reward your faith in Him. He will see your faith towards Him and do things. Trust in His promises always. For the promises of God will never fail.

He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you always if you trust in Him always. Trust God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord always and whose hope is the Lord.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and invite Him into your life. He will come in and give eternal salvation and peace and joy. He is great God. He gave His life on the cross to save you. His love is great and He is willing to give you heavenly blessings. He will be with you and guide you and lead you into eternal glory. Jesus Christ is true living God. Always trust in the commandments of God and follow and you will be saved forever.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

This makes me think about the difference between simply doing what God says and actually learning to love what pleases Him. Those are not always the same thing at first. Scripture says, “I delight to do thy will, O my God” (Psalm 40:8). That word delight catches me. God is not only trying to produce correct behavior in us; He’s changing the heart so that His ways gradually become precious to us. That’s part of what the Holy Spirit does. He doesn’t just point out God’s will; He works within us so we begin to desire it. “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). To me, that’s wonderfully hopeful. Pleasing God isn’t something we have to manufacture by sheer determination. As we surrender to Him, He changes both the doing and the wanting.
