Jesus Christ Said Will Rise Again

Rise Again

Resurrection

John 11:23-26

John 11:23-26 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus Christ is living God. He lives forever and He is the everlasting life. He gives life to dead and make them alive. He is the resurrection and life. The power of resurrection is greater than the power of death.

Jesus Christ conquered death and defeated Satan on the cross. Jesus Christ is great God and almighty. He said to Martha that your dead brother Lazarus will rise again. But Martha said to Him, he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

But Jesus Christ said I am the resurrection and life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. Jesus Christ went to the tomb of Lazarus and called dead Lazarus to come out of the tomb and he came out alive. The power of resurrection has given Lazarus new life and he became alive. Many people saw the miracle done by Jesus Christ and glorified God and believed in Jesus.

Rise Again – Salvation

Ephesians 2:1,5,6 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Lord Jesus Christ gave His life to save the sinners. He shed His precious blood on the cross for the remission of the sin of the world. He died and rose again third day. He is the savior of the world. He finished the work of salvation on the cross and willing to save all those who come to Him and seek His mercy.

Once we are dead in our trespasses and sin, spiritual death and no communication with living God. But by His abundant grace we were forgiven and made alive together with Christ and saved. He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. He is our true savior given the gift of eternal salvation. Made us alive and we having true relationship with living God.

Rise Again – Hope

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Psalms 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.

Lord Jesus Christ is our hope. He made us alive and filled us with His eternal joy and peace. He revived us by His peace and joy. He lifted us up from dust and lift us up from ash heap and seated us with the princes of His people. He lifted us up from lowly state and given us hope and courage to walk upright.

He raised us up again from ash heap and given strength to move high. You will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. He will fill you with His Spirit and empower you with His power. You will be filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Your life will revive and have hope in Jesus Christ.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. He will be your God and guide you and guard you always. He will provide all your needs and help you in all situations and give strength and courage. He will lead you into eternal glory and you will be with Him forever in heaven. What a great blessing it is to receive Jesus Christ in your life.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

One little phrase from Martha catches my attention: “I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day” (John 11:24). She was grieving terribly, but grief had not erased what she knew. Lazarus was dead, yet Martha still understood that death did not get the final word.

There is something deeply comforting in that. Christian hope does not require us to pretend death is less painful than it is. Jesus Himself wept at Lazarus’ tomb. But Scripture gives grief a horizon. Paul writes that we “sorrow not, even as others which have no hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13). We still sorrow—we simply know something sorrow cannot see.

And I love that Jesus did not merely tell Martha there would someday be a resurrection. He said, “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:25). Our hope is ultimately not resting in an event on a prophetic timeline, important as that event is. It rests in a Person. The One who will call the sleeping saints from their graves is the same One who stood outside Lazarus’ tomb and demonstrated that death must surrender when He speaks.

That makes me think differently about a cemetery. To human eyes it looks like a place filled with endings. From heaven’s perspective, perhaps it looks considerably more like a field awaiting harvest.

One day Christ will speak again—and graves all over this earth will discover they were only temporary.
