Let Us Go

Let us Go – Follow

Matthews 4:18-20

Matthews 4:18-20 18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Jesus Christ was moving around and doing miracles and healing and delivering many people. He saw at the Sea of Galilee two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into sea. For they were fishermen. They are doing their business of fishing.

But Jesus said to them follow Me and I will make you fishers of men. Then immediately they left their nets and all things and followed Him. They immediately obeyed His command and trusted Him and followed Him. Jesus was with them all the time and taught them heavenly mysteries and filled them with Holy Spirit and made them as fishers of men. They did great work for the Lord.

Many souls were saved through them and they glorified Jesus Christ. What a great blessing it is to follow Jesus and walk with Him and do His work and bring glory to Him. Many miracles and wonders were done through them. Many sick healed and dead raised in their ministry.

Let us Go – Guide

Isaiah 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.

26 Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.

If you walk with Jesus Christ, He will guide you in all your journey. He will turn the darkness in your life to light. He will make the crooked places straight and makes the way straight. He will not leave you nor forsake you and He will be with you always and help you in all your trials and temptations.

Jesus said let us walk together and I will guide you and lead you in the paths that you have not known. He will lead you in all situations without any fear. He covers you with His protection and give victory. Without Jesus you cannot succeed. Without Him you can do nothing. If you walk with Jesus, you will have always divine guidance and protection and peace.

Let us Go – Fight

Deuteronomy 20:3,4 Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;

4 for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’

Lord Jesus Christ always with His children and walk with them and go before them. Do not be afraid and do not tremble or be terrified because of your enemies. For Jesus Christ who goes before you will fight for you against your enemies and save you and keep you secure.

He will be your shield and buckler always. You go with Him and you will be safe and secure always. He will guard you and protect you from all enemies. What a safety we have in Jesus Christ and to go with Him.

Always seek His will and walk according to His will. He will be with you and come with you and guide you and lead you in right path. You will see great victory in your life. You see great miracles and wonders. What a great blessing it is to go with Jesus Christ see great things in our lives.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. Invite Him into your life and He will come in and give you eternal salvation and peace. He will be your heavenly father and provide all your needs and help you in all your trials and temptation. You will lead a victorious life. He will lead you into eternal glory.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

    A thoughtful reminder that following Christ is not simply about agreeing with His teaching, but being willing to move when He calls.

    What stands out to me in Matthew 4 is the immediacy of Peter and Andrew’s response. They left their nets and followed Him. Those nets represented livelihood, familiarity and security, yet Christ called them beyond what they already knew into something they could not yet fully see.

    That is often the nature of faith. We are not always shown the whole road before we begin walking. We are asked to trust the One who knows where the road leads.

    Isaiah 42:16 captures this beautifully: God leads His people “by a way that they knew not.” Following Christ does not mean we will understand every circumstance, avoid every difficulty, or see every answer immediately. It means we are no longer walking alone.

    Perhaps the challenge for each of us is simple: what are the “nets” we are still holding onto when Christ is asking us to follow?

    Thank you for sharing this reminder to trust, follow and allow God to lead us into places we could never reach by remaining where we are.

    When Jesus says, “Follow me,” He is not simply inviting us to believe something about Him, but to actually go somewhere with Him. Following is a moving word. It is difficult to follow Christ while remaining exactly where we have always been—spiritually, personally, or otherwise.
