John 11:11
John 11:11 These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”
Lord Jesus Christ is loving God. He always moves with compassion and does miracles and wonders in the lives of His people. He is mighty God and nothing is impossible unto Him. Everything is possible to Him. He is the God of all flesh and nothing is too hard for Him. He loves His people always and helps them in times of trouble and temptations. He delivers them from all evil and danger. He called Lazarus a friend.
He said our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up. Lazarus was dead four days and in the tomb. But Jesus saying He is my friend and is sleeping, I will go and wake him up. Jesus Christ is resurrection and life. Whoever believes in Him though they die will live forever. Jesus Christ loved His friend Lazarus and went to him and wake him up from dead.
Jesus called dead Lazarus to come out of tomb and he came out alive. Jesus uses sleep to refer to physical death. Jesus Christ has authority over death. And He raised the dead Lazarus and was alive. For Jesus Christ reviving the dead person is as like waking up from sleep. Jesus Christ delivered His friend Lazarus from death and given new life.
Friend – Sacrifice
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Lord Jesus Christ is our great friend. He loved us and sacrificed His life for us on the cross. He shed His precious blood on the cross for the remission of sin of the world. He died buried and rose again third day victoriously. He gave His precious life for us to save us from all sin and deliver us from destruction and hell.
He is God who loves His people always and save them. He willingly came down from heaven to save the humanity from all bondage and deliver them from the yolk of Satan. He is true friend who loves us with eternal love. His love endures forever. His sacrifice is great.
Friend – Obey
John 15: 12,14 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Isaiah 41:8 “But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend.
Lord Jesus Christ gave His commandment, that you love one another as He love us. Jesus Christ love is greater than the love of a mother. He will not forget you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you always and help you in all your life. He said you are called My friends if you do whatever I command you.
If you follow the commandments of God you are called as friends of Jesus Christ. You will with Jesus Christ and He will be with you always. His presence will be surrounding you always and guide you. God called Abraham as His friend, because he obeyed the voice God and believed in His word and walked in faith.
Friend – Intimacy
Genesis 18:17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing.
Psalms 25:14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Lord Jesus Christ will talk to His friends whom He has chosen. He will reveal to them the inner most things and hidden things. He will reveal to them from His heart. He opens His heart and reveals to them and speak to them. He longs to talk to His friends and reveal to them the secrets hidden. He revealed the hidden things to His friend Abraham.
He revealed to him before it happened. He talked to Abraham and answered all his requests. He is loving God and wants to share the things before it happens. He will have very close relationship with His friends and walk with them and talk to them and guide them always. The close relationship with Him gives great comfort and hope and gives strength and courage to walk upright.
Friend – Companion
Matthews 28:20 …and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ has promised that He will be with His friends always even to the end of the age. He will be with us in all our trials and tribulations and deliver us and keep us safe. He will take care of us and provide all our needs and strengthen us. He gives strength and courage to walk holy. His continuous companionship gives life in abundance. He will protect us and guide us in our lives. He will lead us in right path and into eternal glory. He will be our true friend and companion.
Friend – Faithful
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Proverbs 18:24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Lord Jesus Christ is our perfect friend and He is faithful. He will establish you and guard you from the evil one. He will not leave you, but will lead you in green pastures and still waters and feed you and nourishes you spiritually and physically. He will meet all your needs and give power to overcome temptations. He will help you to overcome all trials and temptations. He will stick to you closer and will not abandon. He will fulfill His promises and bless you. You can trust His word always. He is trustworthy and faithful forever.
Come to Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him into your life. He will bless you with eternal salvation and peace. He will fill you with great joy. He will be your best friend in your life and lead you into eternal glory. He will protect you and guide you always. He will be your guide and lead you in right path. He will help you in all your life. He is good God.

Pray to Jesus Christ
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
