John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Matthew 4:16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”

Lord Jesus Christ is true light. He is eternal light and came into the world to give light to all who are in darkness. He came into this dark world as a true light. He is God who gives light and lead them all who trust in Him out of darkness into light. All are in darkness and in sin. Without Jesus Christ entire humanity is in darkness. They are struggling in darkness and no peace.

All have sinned and come short of glory of God. But Jesus Christ came into the world to shine as true light in the dark world and lead them to salvation. All are under the bondage of sin and fear of death. But Jesus Christ came to deliver them from fear of death and sin. Light has dawned on them and delivered them. In darkness there is fear. But Light gives peace.

Light – Salvation

Ephesians 5:8-11 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Once you are dead in your trespasses and in darkness. You are doing the works of darkness and under the bondage of Satan. But Jesus Christ came and brought you out of darkness and now you in light. Walk as children of light. For the fruit of the spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth. Walk in truth and holiness.

Do not have fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness. Do what is acceptable to God. Lead a holy life. Holiness without which you cannot please God. You are called out of darkness and into light. You are transferred into light by Lord Jesus Christ. By His abundant grace He has given you eternal salvation.

Light – Wisdom

2Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ light shines in darkness and we have received light. The light shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. The light enlightened us and given us the wisdom of God to walk upright before Him.

It is the wisdom and knowledge of God that gives righteousness. The light enabled us to know more about true living God and strengthened by Him. The light lead us into truth and the truth has set us free. He transformed out spiritual darkness into light and revealed His glory.

Light – Way

Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalms 119:130 The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

Jesus Christ is light and His word brings light. At the entrance of His words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple. It directs our paths in right direction. The light is lamp to our feet and help us to walk upright and will not allow our foot to slip.

He will take care of us at all times and the light will enable us to walk straight and without any hindrance. The light will keep us away from all danger and plans of enemy. It will give us right direction and wisdom to walk upright and holy.

Light – Unity

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Lord Jesus Christ is true light. If we walk in true light we have fellowship with one another. There will be no disunity and contentions among brethren. The true light brings unity and peace among brethren. People who are in darkness create confusion and brings contentions and fighting.

There should not be any quarrels among believers who walk in light. All those who walk in light will have peace and bring glory to God. It is always good and pleasant for brethren to dwell in light in unity. It brings the presence of God among them. Holy Spirit will dwell with them.

Light – Life

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Ephesians 5:13-14 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.

14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

Lord Jesus Christ is light of life. He is true light and He is everlasting life. The life was light to all mankind. He gives life to all who are dead in their trespasses and gives them new life. His light shines on darkness and gives life to the dead. The light brings life to all who are dead. Jesus Christ provides spiritual and eternal life to mankind.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal savior. He comes in and gives eternal salvation. His light will shine on you and give you eternal life. He will lead you into truth and you will walk in holiness and receive the blessing of God. Jesus Christ is true light and life and truth. He lives forever.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
