Jesus Christ Said Submit-PT2

Submit

Hebrews 13:17

Submit – Elders

Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

The scripture says obey the elders who rule over you and be submissive to them. Submit to them and listen to them and do not rebel against elders. For they diligently watch for your souls and give an account to God. When you submit to elders they can work with joy but not with grief.

It will benefit spiritually those who submit to them. It is always good to submit to elders in the church and not to overrule them and be in order always. Acknowledge the leadership of the elders in the church and follow their guidance. Obey and submit to the spiritual elders in the church.

It is good to submit ourselves to Him and trust in Him at all times. Have faith in Him, He is the faithful God. He takes care of His children always and provide all their needs and keep them safe and secure and lead you into eternal life. Humble yourself and accept His authority in your life you receive eternal salvation.

Submit – Wives

Ephesians 5:22-23 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

God said wives submit to your own husbands as to the Lord. It is the commandment of God for wives to submit to their husbands. Submit to the husband and respect them and learn from them. For husband is the head of wife, as also Christ Jesus is head of the church and He is the Savior of the body. Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the church must submit to the authority of Jesus Christ. Church must be under the headship of Jesus Christ and must obey the command of Jesus Christ always.

Submit – Children

Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

The scripture says Children are to submit to their parents and obey their command. They must respect their parents and give heed to them. Parents do not provoke your children but admonish them with love. But Children ought to love their parents and obey them in all things.

Children must be honest with their parents and polite in their attitude and help parents in the home. It is the first commandment to obey and submit to parents and promise of blessing and long life. It is well pleasing to the Lord. God will bless the obedient children always and the grace of God abound in their life.

Submit – Authorities

Romans 13:1-2 1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Titus 3:1-2 1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,

2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

The scripture says obey to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exists are appointed by God. So do not rebel against any authority who are in ruling. All the authorities in ruling are kept by God to govern the land. Whoever rebel against the authorities are rebelling the ordinance of God.

Those who resist will bring judgement on themselves. Always be submissive to authorities and respect their ordinances. Pay the taxes to the Governments and do not escape. It is lawful to pay taxes to Government. Do not speak evil of no one and be peaceable and gentle showing all humility to all men and reflect Christ Jesus in your life.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and submit your life to Him. He will come in and bless your life with eternal salvation and peace. He will be with you always and will not leave you nor forsake you. He will give strength and courage to walk uprightly and successful. He provides all your needs and talk to you and anoint.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Biblical submission is often misunderstood because our world tends to equate it with weakness. Yet when I look at Scripture, I see that even Jesus submitted Himself to the Father. Submission, at its best, is not about losing value; it is about trusting God’s order and authority.

I also think there is an important balance to remember. The same Bible that tells wives, children, church members, and citizens to submit also places tremendous responsibility on husbands, parents, elders, and leaders. Authority in God’s kingdom was never intended to be self-serving. Jesus said, “Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant” (Matthew 20:27). Biblical leadership is less about ruling and more about serving.

One thing that has always impressed me is that submission ultimately begins long before it reaches a pastor, parent, spouse, or government. It begins with surrendering our hearts to Christ. In fact, some of the hardest words to pray are not “Lord, bless me,” but “Lord, lead me.” Yet every time we choose His will above our own, we discover that His plans are wiser than ours and His yoke truly is easy.

Christian life is really a daily lesson in trust. The more confidence we have in God’s love, the easier it becomes to place our lives in His hands and say, “Not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42).

  3. Amen!😇
    True words.

Confession is also a form of submission.
Therefore, as James the Apostle said, in his letter to the church brethren (5:17).
We are to confess our faults one to another, meaning, humility must be an all round thing, concerning “everyone”, in the body of Jesus Christ.
While still respecting the leadership, Father Jesus puts in place.

Love is also a form of submission, so husbands loving their wives, is also teaching for a husband to not only expect his wife to submit to him.
As Paul the Apostle shared in his letter to the church brethren in Ephesus (5:25-29).

The congregation should use the discernment of Jesus’ Holy Spirit, and submit to the Elders, who do ‘watch for the souls of the brethren’, not the false elders, Mammon-loving charlatans, wolves in sheep’s clothing, or those who manipulate and rule with the Nicolaitan spirit.
For those fake Elders, Abba Yeshua has given us instructions, as he did for the false leaders of the day He walked on earth in the flesh…
“Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.
For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” (Matthew 23:3-4).

Lastly, the true believer is to keep in mind what Father Jesus said about the two commandments, which cover the 10.
To love God, with everything, and love our neighbours as ourselves.
Keeping that in mind, we are not to blindly submit to “all” worldly authority, as many of the governments and ruling authorities, are governed and controlled by the principalities and powers of wickedness and evil.
Therefore, we are to submit to the authorities which do not violate or go against Father Jesus’ word, and peacefully object/refuse to obey, the worldly authorities which declare sin is good and good is evil, as they legislate their anti-Jesus Christ laws and rules.

    Much Love.
    Shalom!
    Phil.
