Matthew 4:18-20

Fishers of Men

18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Lord Jesus Christ said to them follow Me. Follow Jesus Christ to be blessed by Him. Jesus saw peter and Andrew casting a net into the sea. They were occupied in their business. But Jesus saw them and loved them and chosen them to be His disciples and called them to follow Him.

Jesus said follow Me and I will make you fishers of men. Till now you are fishermen catching fish in the sea by casting your net and busy in your business of catching fish. But from now on follow Me and I will bless you and make you a blessing to many. You will win souls for Me and work for Me. Immediately Peter and Andrew left their net and boat and followed Jesus Christ.

They responded to the call of Jesus Christ immediately and surrender to Jesus Christ and followed Him. Jesus Christ wants your immediate response and submission to His call. Today is the day of salvation. It is not tomorrow but today. Follow Jesus Christ be a blessing to many.

Follow Me – Honor

John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Lord Jesus Christ said follow Me and serve Me. If you obey my voice and follow Me and serve Me then you are my servant and you will receive honor from father in heaven. Father in heaven will reward you and bless you with eternal life and you will reign with Jesus Christ forever. You will judge the people and be in the presence of God always. You will receive the crown of life. You will have eternal peace and joy.

Come to Lord Jesus and accept Him as your personal savior and Lord in your life. He will be your God and you will be His child always and blessed with eternal life and peace. He will take care of you and meet all your needs. He will be with you always and lead you into eternal glory. Follow Jesus Christ and be blessed.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
