Be Watchful

Mark 13:35-37

Ready

35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—

36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.

37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

I Thessalonians 5:6 therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Lord Jesus Christ said be watchful and vigilant for when the master of the house is coming you do not know in the evening or midnight or in the morning. But be watchful and do not sleep and negligent. Do not be careless of His coming. He may come at any moment and be ready always and be prepared for His second coming to judge the nations.

He is coming again as a judge and judgement will be done. He judge all righteously. All those who are not watchful will be left behind and face tribulations. But those who are watchful and ready will go in rapture and be with the Lord forever. Do not be careless and do not sleep as others do but watch and be sober always. Do not be slothful and lazy.

Watchful – Pray

Luke 21:34-36 34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Lord Jesus Christ said take heed to yourself, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life. Do not get involved much in this worldly activities and be negligent of His coming. Always live with expectancy that He will come at any time and be ready to meet Him. Always watch and pray that you may be worthy to meet Him when He comes back.

Watch and pray that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that come to pass and to stand before Jesus Christ. Prayer gives strength to stand worthy before God. Be Prepared rather than living carelessly. Always carefully examine your lives and live a holy life and follow the commandments of God.

Watchful – Signs

Matthew 24:32-33 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

Jesus Christ said be watchful and see the signs of His second coming and the end. Always see the things happening in the world and the fulfillment of prophecies and know that He is coming and be ready. When you see all the things of the end time happening like wars and rumors of wars and pestilences and famines see and know that His coming is near at the door and be ready.

Jesus Christ said the sings of His coming in the scriptures. Jesus Christ clearly explained the signs of His coming and the end of the age. Therefore be watchful and see the sings happening around the world and be prepared.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. Jesus Christ is true living God. He gives eternal salvation and peace to you. He will come to you and be with you. He will be your God always till the end and lead you into eternal life. Jesus Christ is coming soon and be ready to meet Him and enter into His glory. Be watchful and vigilant always and lead a holy life.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
