Jesus Christ Said Love

Winding dirt path through green forest with sunlight beams

Love

John 13:34-35

One Another

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

I John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Lord Jesus Christ is God of Love. He loves His people and blesses them abundantly. He is God who always take care of His people and lead them in righteous way. He is righteous God. He leads His people in right direction and in right path. He is God of Compassion and always does good to His people.

He said to His people Love one another just as I have loved you. Jesus Christ loved us with great love and forgave us. He gave His life for us to save us from all sin and destruction. He shed His blood on the cross for the remission of the sin of world. He commanded His disciples to follow Him in all things.

You must follow His footsteps and love one another always and by this all will know that you are the true disciples of Lord Jesus Christ. All the disciples of Lord Jesus Christ follow His commandments and love one another. They walk in true love of God always. Where there is love always there is no place for hatred and envy and jealous and quarrels.

Love – Forgive

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.

Love covers all sins. Love will not carry hatred and no strife. But loves always forgives and have peace with others. There will no place for divisions among the brethren, but will have harmony and peace. Oneness and togetherness always in love. Fervent love among believer is important and it will promote unity and prevents strife and hatred. You will not carry grudges in your heart but will forgive and have mercy upon others.

Love – No sin

I Corinthians 13:6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

Love does not commit sin and will not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in truth and have continuous fellowship with God. He will rejoice in the presence of God and always thinks to do good. It will not harm others indirectly or directly. It will always away from all sinful activities.

Love – No evil

I Corinthians 13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

Love always tender hearted and kind towards others. It does not behave rudely and talk harshly with others. It will not hurt other by their behavior and attitudes. It does not easily provoked to anger and thinks no evil. It will not do harm to neighbor and love his neighbor as himself.

Love – Reward

Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

Romans 12:20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

Love your enemies and do good to others just as Christ loved and doing good to others always. Always help others and do not expect anything in return that is true love. Your reward will be great in heaven and you will be the sons of the Most High God. Because you are kind and helpful to all God will help you and bless you. If your enemy is hungry feed him and if he is thirsty give him a drink. This is the true love of God. Do not rejoice when your enemy is in trouble.

Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and invite Him into your heart. He will come in and bless you with eternal salvation and peace. He will fill you with His love and you will be a blessing to others. You walk in love and glorify God. You will receive great reward if you walk in love of God. God is love. Do not carry hatred and envy towards others always love one another. Owe no one anything except to love one another. If you love others you are fulfilling the commandment of God.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:

Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. It’s always fascinated me how Scripture keeps tying love and truth together. In our world, people often separate the two — either emphasizing “love” while ignoring obedience to God, or stressing truth without the tenderness of Christ. But Jesus never divided them. He said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15), and at the same time He showed compassion, patience, mercy, and self-sacrificing love toward people everywhere He went.

    I also appreciate the fact that you show us that love is often revealed most clearly in the difficult moments — when we forgive, when we refuse bitterness, when we choose kindness instead of retaliation, or when we pray for someone who has hurt us. That kind of love doesn’t come naturally to the human heart. It’s really the fruit of Christ living within us through His Spirit.

    And honestly, one of the strongest witnesses to the world isn’t just what Christians profess, but how they treat one another. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). Real biblical love is not shallow emotion; it’s steady, obedient, sacrificial, and rooted in truth. Thank you for sharing these encouraging reminders.
