Be Humble

1 Peter 4:9

Humble – Hospitable

9Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.

Lord Jesus Christ says be humble and be hospitable to one another without grumbling. Do good to others especially with household of God. Always have a willing heart to serve others and to those who are in need. Be diligent in serving others and helping others.

Have the mind of Christ Jesus always. Jesus Christ came into the world to serve others but not to be served. He went around doing good to others and delivering people from all bondage and gave comfort. Comfort others by your hospitality.

God dwells

Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Lord Jesus Christ God almighty and lives forever. He is in heaven in holy place in glory. He is highly exalted in heaven and all worship Him in heaven. But He sees the humble and lowly people and come and dwell in them. Thought He dwells in the high and holy place, who has contrite and humble heart and humble in spirit He will come and strengthen them and bless them with His eternal peace and joy.

He will be with them and always and guide them and guard them. He loves the humble and contrite in spirit and dwells in them. He will resist the proud and loves the humble. The grace of God will be upon the humble people and they prosper what they do.

Lifts up

Psalms 113: 7-8 7 He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap,

8 That He may seat him with princes— with the princes of His people.

Psalms 138:6 Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.

Proverbs 22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life.

Lord Jesus Christ looks to the humble and lowly people and lifts them up. He will lift them from the dust and from ash heap and seat them with princes and with the princes of His people. They are His children and members in royal family.

All humble people are lifted up high and receive honor and eternal life. God will bless them with His heavenly blessings and riches. He will give them His wisdom and knowledge to walk upright and holy. His protection will be upon them always and keep them safe.

II Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Lord Jesus Christ always looks towards humble people and bless them. He will listen to their cry and deliver them from all troubles and temptations. When you humble yourself and seek Him and turn away from your evil ways, then He will hear from heaven and will forgive your sin and heal you and your land. He will listen to all those who humble themselves fully. He will be attentive to all humble prayers. When you humble yourself and acknowledge Him and pray to Him then He will listen to you and help you and bless.

God Requires Humbleness.

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Lord Jesus Christ says what is required of you. But to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Walk in humility and in love. This is good to walk humbly before God. Always seek His face and depend on Him and give first priority to Him in all your things. He will bless you and lift you up.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and submit to Him. He will come into your life and bless you with salvation and eternal life and eternal love. You will be a blessed person always and inherit the kingdom of God. Follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ and be humble and you will be greatly blessed by God.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
