1 Peter 1:16

Salvation

16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

Lord Jesus Christ said be holy as I am holy. He is holy God and there is no sin in Him. He is perfect in all things. He is God almighty and lives in holy place. His dwelling in heaven is holy and no unholy thing can enter. His angels are holy and all things in heaven are holy.

It is a holy place where Jesus Christ dwells. To dwell with Jesus Christ in heaven you must be holy and lead a holy life. You must be cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin and make holy. He gives eternal salvation. He is the savior of the world.

Holiness – Words

Colossians 3:8 but now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth,

Lord Jesus Christ holy God watches over the words you speak. Your words must be holy and good. Let not corrupt words proceed out of your mouth. Put away all anger and wrath malice blasphemy filthy language out of your mouth. For with these you will lose your holiness and sin enters into your life.

Every idle word you speak must give an account to God in the day of Judgement. God will watch all the words and emotions in your life. Always speak holy words and words of edification that it may impart grace to the hearers.

In every aspect of your life imitate Jesus Christ and follow Him. Set apart from worldly behavior and live in honesty and pure life. In every part of your life have a godly character and good conscience.

Holiness – Eye

Matthew 6:22-23 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

Lord Jesus Christ said your eye must be holy. If your eye is good then your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. Darkness enters through your eye. What you see with your eye and what you lust with your eye brings darkness into your life.

Your eye must be pure and holy and you shouldn’t see unholy things and not lust after worldly things. The lust of the eye is sin. It brings sin into your life. Your eye is the lamp of the body and if your eye is good then you will be full of light and walk in light and holiness. Be careful what you see and lust.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal savior. He is holy God and gives eternal salvation and redemption from sin. You will become the child of God and member in God’s family. God will be with you and have fellowship with you and give you eternal life. He is holy God and gives holy life. You will enter into heaven by faith in Jesus Christ. Without holiness you cannot see God. He is holy God. Without holiness you cannot reach God. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin and makes you holy.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
