Follow Jesus

Acts 1:4-5

Follow Jesus – Power

4 and being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

8But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Lord Jesus Christ after resurrection from the dead and before ascension to heaven He gathered all His disciples and told them you followed Me so wait for the promise of Holy Spirit from My father. You will be baptized by the Holy Spirit and receive the power of The Holy Spirit and you will be My witness in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.

You will be the fishers of Men. You will receive the power and get wisdom and strength and courage to do My work. They received the Holy Spirit and the power of God and done great things in the name of Jesus Christ.

Many souls were saved and many sick healed and dead rise up. Mighty miracles happened through them by the power of the Holy Spirit. God will equip His disciples who trust in Him and follow Him with His power. You will see great things.

Follow Jesus – Safety

John 17:15-16, 20 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

Lord Jesus Christ praying to the father to keep all His follower safe. He is interceding on behalf of all His true followers to keep them away from evil and danger. He is concerned about the safety of His followers and will keep them safe. He is interceding for the protection of His followers always.

All His followers are commissioned and sent to be His witnesses in this world. So He knows the dangers they face. Jesus Christ takes care of His followers and keeps them safe. His heavenly protection is always surround His followers and keep them secure and keeps them away from all evil and danger.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and follow Him. He will be your savior and bless you with His peace. He provides all your needs and protects you in all times. He is God almighty and nothing is impossible unto Him. You will be His disciple and receive eternal life. What a great blessing it is to follow Jesus Christ.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
