Jeremiah 17:9-10

Discerns Heart

9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; who can know it?

10 I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Lord Jesus Christ almighty God. He knows everything in every place and judge thus. He discerns the heart of a man. The heart is deceitful above all things. No one can know it. But Jesus Christ looks at the heart of every person. He knows what is in their hearts. He will give according to His ways and according his doings. People see only the outside appearance. Yet, God examines the heart of every person. He knows it deeply and judges him. You can’t fool God at any time, because He discerns your heart and look what is filled in your heart.

Matthews 23:27 27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.

Matthews 15:18-19 18 but those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies.

God looks at the heart and see what is inside. He says woe to scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites for you are like whitewashed tombs. Outside you are clean but inside your heart full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. He says what is coming out of your mouth is from your heart. What is your heart filled you will speak. The evil words you speak will defile you and make you unclean in the sight of God. All evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies comes from the heart and defiles a person. Your heart must be clean and you must be clean outside and inside. Your heart must be filled with Word of God which will make you walk upright and holy.

He Discerns Thoughts

Matthews 9:4 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

Psalms 139:1-2 1O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought afar off.

Proverbs 16:2 2 all the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes; But the Lord weighs the spirits.

Lord Jesus Christ looks at your thoughts and intentions in your heart. The thoughts that are in your heart and meditate on the thoughts in your mind He sees and judge. He will not see outward things but the very intentions of your heart will see. For every action the thought behind it He will see. How you glorify God with all your heart and mind and strength He will see. Many will worship Him by their lips outwardly but in their heart full of deceit. God will not be deceived by your outward actions.

Matthews 15:8-9 8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips,But their heart is far from Me.

9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

Jesus Christ says these men worship me with their mouth. They honor Me with their lips. But their heart is far from Me. In the heart they are not honoring Jesus Christ. They don’t give first place to Jesus Christ in their heart. They love things in the world more than Jesus Christ. God who discerns your thoughts and intentions will say your worship is vain because your thoughts are different towards me. He sees the spiritual hypocrisy in you. You must love your God with all your heart.

He Discerns Actions

2 Corinthians 5:9-10 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

1 Corinthians 10:31 31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this are man’s all.

14 For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Lord Jesus Christ, the great Judge, will discern. He will judge every person’s actions, works, and deeds on this earth accordingly. He sees every work done by every person on the earth and reward likewise. He will bring every work into judgment. He is God of Justice and He rules righteously. Live a life pleasing to God and walk according to His word. Whatever you do, do for the glory of God. Do everything with the intention of Honoring God. Your everyday works do with a desire to glorify God. You should not do for your selfish gain and personal glory. Give priority to God and do the works in a holy way.

He discerns all

Job 28:24 24 for He looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heavens,

Hebrews 4:13 13 and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Proverbs 15:3 3 the eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

2 Chronicles 16:9 9 for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this.

Lord Jesus Christ the creator of heaven and earth discerns all things on the earth. He sees under the whole heavens and makes a judgment. Everything is naked and open to His sight. He discerns everything deeply. His eyes run to and fro all the earth. He discerns the thoughts, intentions, actions, and activities of the men on the earth. Hence, God will judge them. He discerns the things of His believers and strengthens them to walk upright. He will discern the things of His children and reward them according to their activities. If they are pleasing to Him, He will give them eternal life. They shall inherit the kingdom of God and dwell in the place of God forever.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him. He is great God. He discerns all things and rewards you. He will help His believers to walk holy and life pleasing to Him. He will strengthen you and give you peace and joy. Walk according to His commandment, because He discerns all things and everybody on this earth. You can’t escape the judgment of God. Surrender yourself to Lord Jesus Christ and lead a life pleasing to Him.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
