Jesus Christ Abhors

He Abhors

Psalms 5:5-6

5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.

6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Lord Jesus Christ is Holy God. He will abhor evil and no evil person can stand in His presence. He abhors all workers of iniquity. He abhors all those who speak lie. He abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful persons. He watches all persons and their activities and thoughts and intentions. He will not tolerate evil activities. He is God who dwells in most holy place and no man can see Him. He dwells in unapproachable light where there is no place for darkness and evil. God said be holy as I am holy. Holiness without which you cannot see God. Because He abhors iniquity.

He Abhors Dishonest

Proverbs11:1 1Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.

He is the God of righteous. He rules the nations by righteousness. He abhors the dishonest people and deceiving people. He abhors the dishonest scales. But He delights in just weight. He watches over all human activities and judges them according to their deeds. He can’t justify dishonest scales. It is a loss to all who practice them. God will not bless those who practice dishonest scales. Those who deceive the authorities by creating wrong accounts He will abhor.

He Abhors Proud

Proverbs 16:5 5 everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.

Matthews 11:29-30 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Lord Jesus Christ is humble and meek. He said, “Take My yoke upon you.” Learn from Him, for He is gentle and lowly in heart. You will find rest. He is very gently and lowly in heart. He humbled Himself on to the cross and laid down His life for all to save all from sin. He Bore all our sorrows and sin on the cross. He shed His precious blood for the remission of the sin of the whole world. He abhors the proud and those who are proud in their heart and in their activities. He will not tolerate proud people. He will Judge the proud people and punish them. All those who humble themselves and come to Him, He will save them and give peace and rest.

He Abhors Idolatry

Psalms 31:6 6 I have hated those who regard useless idols; But I trust in the Lord.

Leviticus 19:4 4 ‘Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves moulded gods: I am the Lord your God.

1 Corinthians 10:14 14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

Proverbs 3:6 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Lord Jesus Christ is creator of heaven and earth. He is true living God and lives forever. He gives life to all beings and all things exist by Him. There is no other God before Him. He abhors idolatry and will not tolerate idol worshiping. He is zealous God. You should not provoke God by going after other foreign gods. You should not have any other things in your heart more precious than Him. You must love your God with all your heart and with all your strength.

You must give first place to Lord Jesus Christ in all your things. He gave His life to save us all from sin and death. Give thanks to Lord Jesus Christ always and worship Him always and glorify Him in all things always. Make Lord Jesus Christ a priority in your life always and love Him more than all. In everything you do, put God first. He will direct your paths. He will bless you with His heavenly blessings. God will give you peace and joy.

He Abhors Adultery

Exodus 20:14 14 “You shall not commit adultery.

Matthews 5:27-28 27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’

28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Lord Jesus Christ said do not commit adultery. Those who commit adultery God will abhor him. He will hate all the adultery people and will not accept them. Jesus Christ said do not commit adultery only in act. He will also abhor those who commit adultery in their hearts. Those who look at woman and lust her has already committed adultery. It is a sin which God will abhor and will not accept such life. God looks at the heart, but man looks at outward appearance.

He Abhors Sin

Galatians 5:19-21 19 now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God

God will abhor all those who practice evil and evil things. All unclean things He abhors. Those who persistently practice such evil things will not inherit the kingdom of God. They will be thrown into hell fire. Those who live a life by these actions will not inherit the kingdom of God. These are the works of flesh and sinful actions led by evil nature. God will abhor such acts.

Galatians 5:22-24 22 but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and follow His footsteps and lead a holy life, a life pleasing to God. He is God. He always wants His people to walk close to Him. They should bear the fruit of the spirit. Through this, they can inherit the kingdom of God. Always practice good things and bear good fruit in spirit and be acceptable to God. These are the virtues that result from being led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit produces these virtues. It leads them in holiness and Godliness.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
