He Calms the Storms

Psalms 107:29-30

29 He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.

30 Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven.

Lord Jesus Christ King of the universe has control over all the creation. He controls the raging sea and makes it calm. Every creation obeys His command and under the control of Him. Nothing can go beyond His command. He calms the storm. The storm obeys His voice and be still.

He calmed the wind

Mark 4:37-39 37 and a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.

38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Jesus and His disciples were going in a boat. A great windstorm arose. All the disciples were afraid and went to Jesus. Jesus arose and rebuked the windstorm. Instantly the storm ceased. There was a great calm on the sea. The disciples go peacefully. They reached the destination safely. What a great power Jesus Christ has.

It is Jesus Christ who has authority over all creation can calm the storms and raging sea and give peace. He is the prince of peace.

He calms raging sea

Mark 6:48-51 48 Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by.

49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out;

50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled.

We see the disciples of Jesus going in a boat. The sea was raging, and waves were coming onto the boat. They were unable to handle the situation. The disciples were in great distress and trouble. They are fearful in that situation. But Jesus Christ saw them and came to them walking on the sea. Jesus Christ walked on the sea and rebuked the raging sea and waves. He went into the boat and the wind ceased and the raging sea made calm. The disciples were amazed at the power of Jesus Christ. It is beyond their imagination. Jesus walking on the raging sea and commanded the wind and sea calm.

He calms the people

Psalms 65:7 7 You who still the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples.

Lord Jesus Christ is in control of all creation. His power and authority over all the earth is great. He controls the noise of the seas and the noise of the waves. He controls the nations and tumult of the peoples. He calms the nations and keeps under His control. He will remove all confusion and noise keeps in peace.

Whatever the situations in the nations Lord Jesus Christ watching and keep in peace. He will be calming the raging nations and keep them under control. Nothing to fear. He will quiet the rage of wicked people. Wicked leaders will be calmed. He will keep all unrest in the nations under control.

He calms unrest

Matthew 11:28 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jesus Christ the prince of peace gives true peace. He will calm all unrest in your life and give perfect peace. In this world there is no real peace. But in Christ Jesus There you get peace eternal. He will remove all fear and distress in your life and give rest. You find perfect rest in the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave His life for all. He shed His blood to save the humanity. Whoever comes to Lord Jesus Christ and invites Him into their life will find perfect peace. When Jesus Christ enters into your life you will see great calm and rest in your life.

His calm strength

Isaiah 30:15 15 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved;

In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not,

Psalms 62:1-2 1 truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

2 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Lord Jesus Christ the God of all universe. He will give full rest in your life. He will take away all unrest and calm all raging fear and distress in your life gives strength and courage. He will be your eternal father and gives eternal salvation. He will defend you from all evil and gives rest.

Always trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow the commandments of God. Wait for His word. He will help you and calm all your storms in life. He will give you perfect peace and joy. In Him you find permanent peace and rest.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
