Enemy Flee

Matthew 28:1-6

1Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

2And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.

3His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

5But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid”, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come; see the place where the Lord lay.

On the third day as said by Jesus Christ He rose from the dead. But Mary Magdalene and other Mary came to the tomb to see the body of Jesus Christ. They forgot what Jesus Christ told before He was crucified. They didn’t believe and understand the words of Jesus Christ of His resurrection from the dead.

Jesus Christ did many other miracles when He was on this earth during His ministry. His disciples are witnesses about all the miracles done by Jesus. Only few miracles were mentioned in the Bible. If all miracles were written one by one, the world itself would not contain the books. That would be written.

When they came to the tomb to see the body of Jesus Christ they find it is empty. The angel of the Lord descended from heaven and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. The angel sat on the stone symbolizes the power and authority over enemy. The seal for the tomb was broken. The enemy obstruction was removed by the power of God. And secondly the guards guarding the tomb couldn’t stand before the angel of God. His countenance was like lightning and his clothing as white as snow. The enemy shook for fear of him the angel of God and became like dead men.

But the angel of God talked to the disciples and strengthens them and said do not be afraid. For He is risen, as He said. Come; see the place where the Lord lay. Such a great comfort the angel of God gave to the disciples but not the guards. Jesus Christ will come to your help and do mighty works. Defeat the enemy and the enemy will flee away.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

He will crush Satan under your feet and give victory. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. This is a promise of God for His children. It is a total triumph and authority over evil. It assures the children of God. Despite the challenges and trials they face, God is in control. He will triumph over evil and give victory.

It is the demonstration of the power of God. No enemy can stand before the power of God almighty Jesus Christ. All power was given to Jesus Christ and every knee must bow to Him and worship.

Every obstacle will be removed and every enemy strategy will fail. It is God the ultimate power and controls the entire universe do according to His will.

Although strong your problems facing now, need not worry. No power can withstand before the power of God. Jesus Christ conquered death and rose victoriously. He will give victory and success for His children.

Just trust in Him in all situations. Continue in faith. Hold on to His promises. His promises will never fail. He is faithful and Just. Be courageous and rejoice in Christ Jesus. What a great power and authority we have in Jesus Christ. Pray to Him and continue to walk with Him. Do not lose faith.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
