Go Quickly

Matthew 28:7-8

7And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

After Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, Mary Magdalene and others came to see the tomb. They wanted to see where Jesus’ body was laid. But they did not find the body of Jesus Christ. Indeed He was raised from the dead and the tomb was empty. And the angel of the Lord answered and said to them

• Do not be afraid
• He is not here
• He is risen

Come and see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is raised from the dead.

Go quickly and tell the truth that Lord Jesus was raised from the dead. In the above verse it is emphasizing that go quickly and tell. Do not hasten and do not doubt anymore. Just believe and receive the word and go and tell the truth. The other disciples will know the truth that Jesus raised from the dead and believe and glorify Him.

Many times we miss the blessings when we tarry because of our unbelief. Move quickly and spread the good news of Jesus Christ and bring many to Him. It is not time to slack. It is day time not night to sleep. It is time to run for Christ Jesus and spread the good news.

John 9:4 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

When the night comes we can’t do the work. So quickly utilizing the time spread the gospel and do the work of the Lord. It is in our best interest to be wise in use of our time. It is very important verse about time. Inspiring the believers to do work without delay. Jesus tells that we are to work while it is day. It is important to act while there is still daylight. When it is dark will stumble and face hurdles.

Daytime had an opportunity to go quickly and spread good news. But night time faces limitation and can’t act fully and the time is up.

Matthew 4:18-20 18And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

19Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

20They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Jesus while walking by the Sea of Galilee saw two brothers, Simon Peter and Andrew his brother doing their work. They are fishermen. Busy in their profession. But when Jesus saw them and called them to follow Him they promptly followed Jesus left their nets and belongings. It is a swift action by them. Without hesitation and doubt they quickly obeyed Jesus Christ word and became His disciples.

What a blessing it is to quickly respond to the voice of God and follow Him. Spread the good news quickly without delay while it is daytime.

Come to Jesus Christ pray and do His work. receive His blessings. Eternal blessings. What a great joy it is do His work.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
