Fully Understand

Luke 24:25

25Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Jesus Christ, after His resurrection from the dead, came to His disciples. He talked to them saying O foolish ones and slow of heart to believe. Jesus rebuked their lack of faith in the scriptures. He also rebuked their inability to discern and understand the scripture. They did not comprehend all that the prophets have spoken.

Here Jesus says O foolish ones because the disciples were struggling to understand about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus explains the scriptures to them. He shows how His suffering and resurrection were foretold by the prophets. These events were written in the scriptures.

This shows that disciples lack of faith and understanding of scriptures about Jesus Christ. It is important to understand the scriptures and believe in it. In the scriptures it is revealed the plan of God for entire humanity. Many times we lack understanding and faith to understand and believe them. If any one of you lacks wisdom ask of God and He will give you.

James 1:5-6 5If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Ask God for wisdom who gives to all liberally without reproach. Ask with faith, with no doubt. If you doubt will not get it. Lack of faith a person life is like a sea driven and tossed by the wind. You don’t know what to do and where to go. You can’t reach your destination.

James 3:17 17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits.

The wisdom from above is pure and peaceable and gentle. Also willing to yield and full of mercy and good fruits. You bear fruit for the Lord. Good fruits. The nine fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-24 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desire

The fruit of the Holy Spirit Love Joy Peace Long-Suffering Kindness Goodness Faithfulness Gentleness Self-Control

You will crucify the flesh with its passions and desires and glorify God. Bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit and you will be blessed by God.

Receive the wisdom of God and faith understand the scriptures about Jesus Christ.

Seek the Help of the Holy Spirit. He will teach you

Psalms 49:20 20 A man who is in honor, yet does not understand, Is like the beasts that perish.

Come to Jesus Christ and pray.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
