Receive Power

Acts 1:3

After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ after resurrection appeared to His disciples showing many miracles to them and speaking to them about kingdom of God.

• He provided them with “many infallible proofs” of his life.
• He spoke to them about the kingdom of God.

Acts 1:8

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

This is a promise of Empowerment. Here Jesus Christ saying that He will give them power to do His work. You will receive the Holy Spirit.

Jesus promise that believers will receive power from the Holy Spirit and be witnesses of Jesus in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. This verse emphasizes the empowering role of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life and the mission to share the gospel with all people. This is spiritual power, enabling them to proclaim the gospel and demonstrate its truth through their lives.

Empowering the disciples with Holy Spirit and to share the Gospel effectively. With the help of Holy Spirit you can lead and life holy and bring glory to God. Also, all your needs be met. Spirit filled disciples witness about Jesus around the World. The Holy Spirit helps you to stand strong for the things of God.

What a great blessing it is to have the power of Holy Spirit and do the work of God.

Ask God to fill you with His Spirit and Power. If you want the great blessing and power of God, come to Jesus Christ.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Let my life be a testimony of Your grace. Thank You for giving me a new, Christ-filled life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
