He Meets
Hebrews 7:1,2
Blessings
1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,”
Lord Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is king of righteousness and He rules forever in righteous. His kingdom is established forever and He is the king of peace.
He met Abraham and blessed him after returning from the slaughter of the kings. He came to bless Abraham and Abraham gave tenth part of all to Him. Abraham honored Him and received blessings.
Abraham defeated four kings and rescued his nephew lot and recovered all the lost. He came victorious from the war and there met Melchizedek and was blessed. Abraham honored God and gave tenth part of all. He was willing to honor God and glorify so God met Him and blessed Him. God will meet His people to bless them and give peace.
He meets – Deliverance
Matthews 8:28,32 28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way.
32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.
Lord Jesus Christ came to place of Gergesenes and there met Him two demon possessed men. He was always in tombs and no one could control him. But Jesus Christ met him and delivered him from the power of demons. He commanded the demons to leave him and the demons left him. The person was healed and delivered completely.
He was sitting and clothed in right manner. Great healing and deliverance he received. What a great power manifested by Jesus Christ when He met the demon possesses person. There is deliverance in Jesus Christ. He will deliver the people from all bondage and give peace.
He meets – Life
Luke 7:11-15 11 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd.
12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”
15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
Lord Jesus Christ was compassionate God. He was moved with compassion and did many miracles and wonders. When He came into a city called Nain He saw a dead man was being carried on an open coffin. He was a son of a widow.
Only son to her and the mother crying because her only son died. Jesus Christ saw her agony and was moved with compassion and came near the coffin and met them and touched coffin and commanded the dead to rise up.
The young man who was dead sat up and began to speak. Life came into his body and he became alive again. Jesus Christ presented him to His mother. The mother was so joyful. She was filled with joy and peace and wondered at the miracle done by Jesus Christ.
Come to Lord Jesus Christ. He will bless you and deliver you from all sin and sickness. He is God of compassion and always does good to His people. He will meet you and give great deliverance and peace and eternal life. He is willing to come to you. He standing at the door of your heart and knocking. Open the door and invite Him. He will come into your heart and will be with you forever.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
