He Shuts

Isaiah 22:22

22 The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open.

Lord Jesus Christ almighty and powerful God. He is God who lives forever. Nothing is impossible for Him and everything is possible unto Him. He is God who does wonders without numbers. He is God of miracles and wonders. He is the God of all flesh and everything in the universe will obey His command and surrender to Him. He is God who controls the entire universe and sustains it.

He gives life to all living beings. When shuts no one can open. When He opens no one can shut. He is mighty God and everlasting King. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is sovereign God and His protection for His people is always perfect. He prevents His people from danger and destruction. He will not allow the enemy to attack His people. He shuts the door for enemy not to attack.

He Shuts – Heavens

1 Kings 8:35 35 “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them.

Lord Jesus Christ shut the heavens and there was no rain for the people. There is famine in the land and no peace in the land. God shut the heavens because of the people’s sin. He was not pleased with them. His anger aroused and He shut the heavens to punish the people. It is God who gives rain to the people and food to eat. All the living creatures survive because He gives food to all flesh. When He opens the heavens rain will come and give food to all flesh. It is God almighty who gives good things.

He Shuts – Enemy

Daniel 6:21-22 21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!

22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”

Lord Jesus Christ shut the mouth of lions in the den and did not allow to harm His servant Daniel. Daniel was thrown in the lion’s den. God was with Him in the lion’s den. He shut the mouths of the lions. Daniel was safe and secure. Lord Jesus Christ will shut the mouth of the enemies and keep His servants safe.

All those who trust in the Lord and follow His commandments God will deliver them from the mouth of lions. His divine protection surrounds always for His faithful servants. Daniel was faithful even in the lion’s den and did not complain against God. He remained with unwavering faith even in the lion’s den believing God will deliver Him.

He Shuts – Noah’s ark

Genesis 7:15-17 15 And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life.

16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth.

Lord Jesus Christ was with Noah. Noah obeyed the command of God and did all God commanded. He finished the ark and all animals came in and finally Noah and his family enter the ark. Then God shut him in the ark. He shut the door of the ark so that Noah could not open.

God shut the door of the ark. He will open it at the right time. Until then, Noah must remain in the ark with his family. God kept Noah and his family safe in the ark. Whole earth was filled with water and there was great flood on the earth. God destroyed all the earth and it inhabitants. But God kept safe Noah and his family in the ark. Door shut for His safety and security.

He Shuts – Womb

1 Samuel 1:5 5 but unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Lord has shut the womb of Hannah. She could not conceive and bear a child. She was very much distressed and troubled. She could not bear the reproach. She cried out to God almighty and made a vow that she will dedicate the first born to Him. Then God answered her prayers and granted her petition.

God was preparing her spiritually and made her understand the need of God. She prayed intensely to God to grant her petition. She came close to God and surrender to God completely. The womb shut was temporary and act of God to the birth of Prophet Samuel. God has a power to give life. He is living God and gives life. God shut the womb for His purpose to fulfill.

He Shuts – Satan

Revelation 20:1-3, 10 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Lord Jesus Christ great God. He is all powerful and mighty King. He will bind Satan for a thousand years. He will cast Him into the bottomless pit. He will shut Him up and set a seal on him. No one can open the seal. The Satan can’t escape and no more deceive the nations. It is God who shuts the Satan in bottomless pit and seal it. Satan and his agents receive eternal punishment in Hell. Lord Jesus Christ rules forever and His throne endures forever.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. He will open the doors of blessings and opportunities for you. You will be a blessing to many. God will bless you with heavenly blessings and fill you with His eternal peace and joy. He will guide you always and keep you safe. He is great God and nothing is impossible to Him.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
