Exodus 8:17-19

Finger of God –Power

17 and they did so. For Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth, and it became lice on man and beast. All the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 Now the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. So there were lice on man and beast.

19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had said.

Lord Jesus Christ great God. He does wonders and miracles without numbers. He is the God of miracles and wonders. He did mighty miracles in the land of Egypt to deliver His people from the bondage of Pharaoh. He punished the evil king in the land and showed His mighty power.

The magicians in the king pharaoh palace not compete with Moses. They could not do any more magic towards God’s people. They failed before the power of God almighty. They finally acknowledged that this is the FINGER of God. It is the power of God that does wonders and punish the people with plagues. The finger of God is the power of God and authority of God.

Finger of God – WORD

Exodus 31:18 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

Lord God almighty spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai. Moses was on Mount Sinai for forty days in the presence of God. God was revealing the divine things to Moses and revealing His plan and purpose for His children Israelites.

After Moses spent time in the presence of God, God finished talking with him. He gave Moses two tablets that He made Himself. God wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets with His finger and gave them to Moses. They are two tablets of the testimony. The finger of God wrote the commandments for His children to follow.

The tablets were work of God and the finger of God wrote. God of heaven wrote Ten Commandments on the tablets of stone with His finger. The word of God is written to read and follow. There is power in the word of God written. When you read the word of God you will be blessed.

Come to Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him. Allow His rule in your life and in your family. He is great king and He rules and protects you and guide you till the end. He will be your heavenly father always comfort you and strengthen you and establish you to be with Him eternally. What a great joy it is.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
