Advent Season Peace

Christmas-Peace

Luke 2:11-14

Eternal Peace

11 for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

John 14:27 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jesus Christ the prince of peace was born in Bethlehem. He is the savior of the world. He was born to save the humanity from sin and give peace. The angels of God praising God for a savior was born on the earth to bring peace on the earth. The will of God is fulfilled by Jesus Christ. He brought peace and goodwill to all.

Those who believe in Him will receive peace in Jesus Christ. Jesus said I give my peace to all who believe in Me. The peace He gives is eternal peace. In this world you do not find real peace. In this world you have troubles and temptations. But Jesus the prince of peace gives you real peace which last forever.

Peace Reconciled

Ephesians 2:14-17 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

Lord Jesus Christ is our peace. He came into this world to give peace. He has broken the middle wall of separation from God and made access to the throne of God. He defeated death and the power of death and rose again third day. We are reconciled with God through Jesus Christ through the cross.

Jesus Christ paid penalty for all our sins and bought salvation. Through Jesus Christ work on the cross we receive salvation and reconciled to God. Once we are enemy to God because of our sin. But now by the death of Jesus Christ we are reconciled to God. Jesus Christ bore all the wrath of God on Him on the cross. Now all we are reconciled by God through Jesus Christ sacrifice and filled with peace. When you are reconciled with God you will receive peace.

Peace – Justified

Romans 5:9 9 much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

For Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross and died and rose again third day. By His precious blood we are cleansed and justified and made accepted before God and received peace of God. We are justified by God through Jesus Christ.

He accepted us as His children. Whoever comes to Him in faith will be accepted and justified. As a child of God no need to live under fear of Judgment of God and wrath of God. The wrath of God was removed and Justified by Him. You are filled with peace.

Only in Jesus Christ the prince of peace will give real peace. He is good God and blesses His children always and lead them into eternal life. God’s wish is not to condemn but to confession and confession leads to restoration. Condemnation points to your sin but confession leads to savior Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
