He Laughs

Psalms 2:1-5

1 why do the nations rage and the people plot a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

3 “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.

5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure:

Lord Jesus Christ the King of the universe. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He watches over all nations and the rulers of the nations. He knows their evil plans against Him and He punishes the evil deeds of the rulers. He laughs from heaven at the rulers of nations of their futile plans. Rulers of nations plan against the will of God. God in heaven watches their foolish plans and makes them futile.

He will hold them in derision. He laughs at the rulers because their attempts to rebel are futile and fail. He is very much angry over the evil rulers and keeps them in distress. Nothing can stand against the God of heaven. He is the ultimate power and authority over all nations. No evil plans can succeed against God in heaven. The God in heaven Lord Jesus Christ laughs at their foolish plans. The one who is on throne in heaven laughs the Lord scoffs at the evil rulers.

He laughs at the wicked

Psalms 37:11-13 11 but the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

6 12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.

13 The Lord laughs at him; For He sees that his day is coming..

The Lord Jesus Christ is against the wicked. He laughs at them, for their day is coming. The wicked will not continue in wickedness for it will come to end. God knows the end of the wicked. But the wicked will continue in pride and it leads to destruction. God in heaven laughs at the wicked, for He knows the wickedness will not continue.

He knows their judgment is coming. Their wicked schemes will fail and the judgment of God will come. The wicked plans many evil plots against just, but God will not allow it. The laugh is powerful response of God for the actions of wicked. God’s justice will prevail ultimately. The righteous need not fear or discouraged of the success of wicked, because God’s Justice will prevail.

He laughs at disobedient

Proverbs 1:24-26 24 because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,

25 Because you disdained all my counsel, and would have none of my rebuke,

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes.

God almighty in heaven lovingly invites all to come to Him and follow His commandments. He wants everyone to come to Him and walk according to His counsel. But everyone gone astray and refused to listen to the counsel of God. So God in heaven will laugh at the time of their distress. They are rebels and didn’t obey His voice.

Many times He wants to draw them near to Him but didn’t come. Then the anger of God will come. It is His laugh towards disobedient. Those who have refused the counsel of God will finally be overwhelmed by calamity. God will laugh at their misfortune. The gracious God in heaven pleads you to come to Him. If you do not obey, you will face danger. God will laugh.

He will fill with joy

Job 8:21 21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing.

Psalms 126:2 -3 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.

The Lord God almighty will bless His children always and fill them with great joy and peace. He will fill their mouth with laughter and they will sing greatly and praise God. For the Lord will do great things in the lives of His people. He will deliver them from all danger and destruction and fills them with great laughter. He is faithful God who blesses His children with everlasting peace and joy. He will renew the spiritual life and completely restores the lives of His children.

Come to Lord Jesus Christ the King of the universe. He is God of justice and punishes the wicked and blesses the faithful. He fills you with His joy and makes you laugh. Your mouth will be filled with laughter. Your life will be restored and renewed and get blessed eternally. He is the great hope for all who are in distress. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and be filled with joy and be glad always.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
