Jesus Resists

1 John 3:8

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to resist and destroy the enemy Satan. He defeated Satan on the cross. He shed His blood on the cross for the remission of sins of all humanity. He died and rose again third day victoriously. He won great victory over enemy. He gives Salvation and Peace and Joy to all who believes in Him.

He resists the evil

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

God is restraining the lawless one by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit restrains the evil one and gives victory to church. Until the church is here He will restrain the evil one and the lawless person. He will not allow evil to take control of everything. The Holy Spirit is the restraining power to restrain the evil one and keep under control.

He resists the proud

1 Peter 5:5 5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Lord Jesus Christ holy God resists the proud and gives the grace to the humble. He will keep away the proud people. God always oppose and resists the proud. He wants all His believers to be clothed with humility. All believers must be humble and yield to one another. He will oppose the proud and show great favor to humble and contrite.

He resists the enemy

Deuteronomy 3:22 22 you must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.’

Exodus 14:14 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

God almighty fights for His believers and rescue them from all evil and danger. He resist the enemy by Him mighty power and protect His believers all the time. His mighty presence around His believers will resist the enemy and give victory and success always. The mighty presence of God will not allow the enemy to overcome the people of God. He will fight for His people and bring great deliverance always. Do not fear of any enemy. Lord Jesus Christ loves His children and resists the enemy and protects them.

He resists wicked

Psalms 34:16 16 the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalms 145:20 20 The Lord preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.

Psalms 5:5 5 the boastful shall not stand in your sight; you hate all workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 15:26 26 the thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, But the words of the pure are pleasant.

God is against those who are wicked and do evil deeds. He resists all evil words and evil thoughts and evil activities. He set His face against the evil and wicked people who practice evil. He will punish them and preserve all who love Him and follow His commandments. He loves those who trust in Him and depend on Him and fulfill His will.

He resists all the workers of iniquity. The thoughts of the wicked are abomination to the Lord and hate them. The thoughts of wicked are always evil and meditate on evil things which God hates. It is evil in His sight. He hates evil and resists the evil ways.

He resists all ungodly

Matthew 25:11-12 11“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’

12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

Matthew 25:41-43 41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

Lord Jesus Christ at the time of judgment will resist the ungodly. He will also resist those who practice lawlessness and lead a wicked life. He resists all those who not believe in Him. He resists all the people who do not know Him and not do the will of God. Those who walk according to their own will and practice evil will be resisted by God. They do not have entrance into Heaven.

Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow His commandments. Do the will of God and lead a holy life. Be vigilant and be watchful in prayer always and have right relationship with God almighty. You will be saved and accepted by Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon to judge the nations. Be filled with Holy Spirit and do the works of the Lord.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
