Jesus Sustains

Hebrews 1:3

3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power,

Divine power

Jesus Christ the creator of heaven and earth. He is sustaining all things by the power of His word. He is upholding the universe by the power of His word. By His power entire universe exists and sustains. He is mighty God. No other power can sustain the universe. Only the creator of heaven and earth can sustain the universe. He sustains all the people in the world. By His breath every living creature lives.

He nourishes

John 6:35 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Jesus Christ is our sustenance. He will sustain us and give life. He is the bread of Life. He who eats the bread will live forever. Whoever comes to Him will never hunger and thirst. He satisfies us and sustains us by His eternal bread. He is the bread of Life. He gives spiritual nourishment that leads to eternal life.

He is grace and truth

John 1:14 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

He is the grace and truth. By His grace He sustains us and blesses us. By the grace and truth He sustains us. He is the grace and truth. His favor upon us and the truth will set us free and give peace and joy. He will sustain us and give everlasting life.

He provides

Exodus 16:4,15 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you.

15 So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.

God is the sustainer and He provides good gifts from above. He gave manna from heaven to Israelites in wilderness for forty years and sustained them in their journey. Until they reach promises land they were sustained by manna from heaven. They all ate and sustained. God continuously provided without any break irrespective of their disobedience. He is good God and provides good things for His chosen people. He wants His people to be alive and walk according to His will. He corrects His children when they commit mistakes. He will be with them and strengthen them. He disciplines and corrects the one He loves. As a father corrects his son, so our heavenly father corrects us. He disciplines and enables us to walk upright in his sight.

He cares

Isaiah 46:3-4 3“Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb:

4 Even to your old age, I am He, and even to grey hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Psalms 55:22 22 Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

He has chosen us and sustained us from the birth and carries us till the old age. He cares for us. Even to grey hairs He will sustain us and bear all our burdens. He will carry in His arms like a mother carries her child. He will deliver us from all evil and give us eternal life. What a great God Jesus Christ. He sustains us and keeps us alive. Cast your burden on Him who sustain you and He will take care of you. Nothing to fear and nothing to worry. He will carry your burden. Lay all your burdens upon Him and He will sustain you. It is a great hope in the Lord Jesus Christ to trust Him. He sustains you help you to have victorious life.

He secures us

Psalms 3:5 -8 5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.

7 Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.

He sustains us with His protection. He protects us from all our enemies and dangers. He fights with our enemy and deliver us. We can lie down peacefully in the night and wake up and glorify God, Because He sustains us. He will guard us all the time. He is the God who will not sleep. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. His continuous watch over His children. He arises against our enemy and struck them with His mighty power and breaks the enemy power. He will sustain us and strengthen us.

There is great security and providence and grace in Him. He cares and sustains us till the end. He leads to eternal life. He gives all good things from above and sustains us.

Proverbs 23:26 26 My son, give me your heart, And let your eyes observe my ways.

Come to Jesus Christ and trust in Him all the time. Cast all your burdens upon Him and He cares you. Give your heart to Jesus Christ. Follow His path of righteousness. He will come into your life and sustain you and give eternal life and eternal joy and eternal peace.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
