Jesus Exalts
1 Peter 5:6-7
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Jesus Christ who lifts the humble and makes them sits on high places. He looks down and see the humble and exalts them in due time. He is God of blessing. He takes care of His children and provides all their needs.
His eye upon humble
2 Chronicles 16:9 9 for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
The Lord Jesus Christ watches over all humanity from heaven. He moves throughout the whole earth to show Himself on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him. He favors those who are humble, submissive, and of contrite spirit. He will bless them and lift them up and exalt high.
Nothing is hidden
Hebrews 4:13 13 and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
There is nothing hidden from the sight of Jesus Christ. Everything is naked and open before Him. He sees the humble and be with them and protect them and fight for them and defend them. He exalts the poor and lowly person.
Esther 2:17-18 17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
18 Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther, for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king.
Esther was a Jewish orphan and was very humble and obedient to her uncle. She was an obscure orphan. She had no recognition and status. Yet, God saw her humbleness and contrite spirit. He exalted her to be a queen of the nation. She obtained grace and favor of king. She was selected among many and became queen of the nation. Great feast was hosted by the king and she was honored much.
What a great blessing it was for her to be exalted high and became queen of the nation. She was elevated to high place. God looks down and exalts the humble and lowly.
Daniel 6:16 16, 21, 22 so the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.”
21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!
22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”
Daniel was taken up out of the den. No injury was found on him. He believed in his God.
25 Then King Darius wrote: To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you.
26 I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel.
Daniel was very humble and feared the Lord always. He was faithful to God almighty and humble under the mighty hand of God. Whatever the situation he faces he was steadfast in the Lord and humble. He never murmurs against God. He was humble obedient to Lord Jesus Christ. Even though he was in lion’s den was delivered by the hand of God.
The king was astonished. He exalted Daniel. He gave a decree that all should fear and glorify the God of Daniel. What a great blessing and honor it was.
God exalts His children always and delivers them from all danger and evil attacks.
Cast your burden upon Him and be faithful to Him. He takes care of everything for you.
Psalms 55:22 22 Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Entrust all you worries and problems and fears to God almighty. He promises to help and support and give you all things. He will strengthen you so that you will not be overcome by trials and temptation. But He uplifts them and provides the needs and exalts them and gives joy and peace. He will fill you with great joy and peace.
Come to Jesus Christ. Surrender to Him. Be humble under His hand. He will definitely exalt you in due time. Meanwhile cast all your burden on him and be at rest. He will give you the rest.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
