Be Holy

Leviticus 19:2

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy

1 Peter 1:15-16 15but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

16because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

1Timothy 6:14-16 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,

15which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Jesus Christ the eternal God who lives forever and He is holy God. He is king of Kings and Lord of Lords. He dwells in unapproachable light, full of light and holiness and no man can see and approach Him.

Such a mighty and holy God Jesus Christ.

John 8:46 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin?

Jesus Christ was in flesh on the earth. He challenged the people around Him. He asked if any man can accuse Him of any sin. But no one can accuse of any sin in Him. He is so perfect and holy. He lived holy life. He is sinless and lived a life free from sin It is a powerful statement and His divine nature. The nature He is holy God.

In the Bible it is written more times about holiness. Because God is holy and He speaks of holiness and holy life. He can’t compromise on sin and sinful nature of man. Whoever comes to Him confess their sins and be made holy by the blood of Jesus Christ. The holy blood shed on the cross for the all the humanity.

1 John 1:7-9 7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we confess our sins, we must accept Jesus Christ as our savior. Then He will cleanse us from all sin. He will make us righteous and holy. Without the blood of Jesus Christ there is no remission of Sin. Jesus shed His blood for all for the remission of sins of whole world.

Romans 12:1-2 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Jesus says be Holy as I am holy. Follow His commandments and set apart yourself for God. Strive for holiness in all aspects of your lives because God command is be holy as I am holy. Recognize with Jesus Christ and walk according to His commandments. It is not about our works that makes holy but by the blood of Jesus Christ we are made holy. Live a life that reflects the glory of God.

Hebrews 12:14 14Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

Without holiness you can’t see God and reach God. Abide by the commandments of God written in Bible. Honor God and reverence God. Show love towards others and keep away from sin and sinful activities. Have communion with Lord Jesus Christ always.

Jesus Christ is coming very soon and to meet Him in Heaven you need to live a holy life. It is written in the Bible that without holiness no one can see God. Be holy as He is holy.

Come to Jesus Christ. Confess your sins. Be made holy. Lead a holy life to be with Him forever.

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
