Resurrection Power Did Not Recognize Jesus

Did not Recognize Jesus

John 21:3-5

3Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”

They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

4But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

5Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?”

They answered Him, “No.”

Simon Peter said to the other disciples, I am going fishing. Then the other disciples said we are going with you. So they went out and quickly got into the boat for fishing. They struggle whole night but did not catch single fish. What a great disappointment

The focus of the disciples shifted away from Jesus Christ. Their focus was on their profession catching fish. But they were called the fishers of men by Jesus Christ. They forgot their call. Neglected their call. They were all diverted to other things. The focus must be on Jesus Christ and do according to His commandments. But here the disciples totally neglected their call and their ministry and went to their old life style. That is why there is no success in their efforts. All barren and fruitless life. Always align your life with His will. Then you will see great blessing.

When Jesus Christ after resurrection appeared to the disciples on the shore they did not recognize Him. Their eyes blinded and gone astray. They not see the presence of Jesus Christ. Many times when the believers eyes blinded recognize the presence of God and His voice. They neglect His presence and can’t listen to His voice. Thereby they go astray and lose everything.

Jesus Christ, out of His great love for His children, came to them. He restored them to the right path. He opened their eyes by a great miracle and they see Jesus Christ and worshiped Him.

Psalms 146:8 8The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.

The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. God’s compassionate and powerful nature. It also speaks of God’s ability to restore sight for those who are blind physically. It also speaks of His power to heal spiritually and uplift the oppressed. He will help His children those who are gone astray and become blind. He will come to them and restore them spiritually and physically. He restores the relationship with Him. It is God’s love and favor towards His children. He will restore His children and heal and deliver them from difficult situations.

Do not go astray and fall into temptations. Be courageous and have faith in Him. In all situations He can lead you and guide victoriously. Do not get discouraged and fear. God is always watching over His children and will help them.

Continue walk with Him and enjoy fellowship with Him. He is great God and Loving God. He gave His life for you to restore you and save you from eternal destruction. He gives eternal life.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

Pray to Jesus Christ

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
