Amazed
Mark 16:6-8
6But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him
7But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
8So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
The disciples came to see the tomb where Jesus was laid. But the tomb was empty and an angel was sitting at the right side of the place. The angel talked to the disciples and encouraged them and strengthened them. Said do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, He is risen. He is not here. Come and see the place where He was laid. They came near and saw the tomb empty. Jesus rose from the dead.
The disciples saw the empty tomb and listened to the angel. They were amazed and trembled. They went out quickly because they were afraid.
They witness the things happened beyond their comprehension. Many times God will carry out mighty miracles and wonders in our lives beyond our comprehension. Then we will be amazed and praise God.
He will do things beyond your imagination. Such a mighty God He is. The very acts of God are wonderful and mighty. His words will never fail. He will fulfill His word. Jesus predicted before He was crucified that He will die and rise again on third day. Same thing Happened. Jesus was crucified and buried and rose again on third day. But the disciples not comprehend the words of Jesus When He told them. That is why they came to the tomb. They wanted to see the body of Jesus Christ. They planned to apply spices to His body. But He was not in the tomb.
What a great miracle it was. Many times when we don’t believe God’s word we will be astonished when the things of God done.
Psalms 126:2-3 2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.
He will do great and amazing things. Your mouth will be filled with laughter and your tongue with singing. The greatest miracle is salvation. He will deliver you from the power of sin and Satan and give new life. All your burdens will be rolled away and you will be filled with new joy and new songs. What a great things it is. God will change your life and give great peace and joy. No power can change a persons wretched life expect the power of Jesus Christ and the Love of God. Many will see the wonders God did in your life and glorify Him.
Mark 5:15 15Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
Jesus Christ delivered a person who was demon possessed and no one control him. He was in terrible condition powerless to obtain deliverance from anywhere. The villagers and all the people around not control him. So they left him alone. It was at that time Jesus came to him and delivered him from the bondage of Satan. All the chains of Satan broken. He was set free and has become perfect. All the villagers saw the person delivered from Satan. He was sitting at the feet of Jesus and clothed perfectly. They were all amazed by the great wonder done in his life. Great deliverance happened. Life has been restored.
Whatever situations you face now do not get afraid. He is almighty God. He loves you and will deliver you. He will help you to come out of any difficult situation. Seek Him in all times and continue in faith. You will see great deliverance and be amazed.
