Resurrection Power Come See

Come See

Matthews 28:6

6He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

After Jesus resurrection, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary visited the tomb on the first day of the week. They wanted to see where Jesus body was kept. But to their surprise they did not see the body of Jesus Christ. As He said Jesus rose from the dead third day and came out.

The angel of God came down from heaven and sat there. He saw them and talked to them. He strengthened them and said, “Jesus Christ whom you seek is not here. He is risen from the dead.” Come; see the place where the Lord lay.

It is an invitation for them to come and see the empty tomb. They should spread the good news to other disciples quickly. The angel did not invite any other person to come and see. Only those who came seeking Jesus Christ received the invitation to come and see. It is a great encouragement.

God invites you to see the things which He performed and to believe. It is to strengthen their belief. It is not story fabricated but it is truth. The truth is Jesus rose again on third day from dead and appeared to many.

Many times we see the Lord’s works made visible in our world. Sometimes we see with the eyes of faith His deep works in the hearts of people. We glorify Him for these works.

It is an invitation to come and see. Give glory to God. Spread the news to others. Bring them to Jesus.

John 1:37-39 37The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?”

39He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).

When two disciples heard him speak they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned and seeing them following, said to them what do you seek . They said where are you staying. Jesus replied and invited them come and see. Instantly the disciples came and saw where He was staying and remained with Him. What a great blessing it is come and see the things of God. It is an invitation for His people to see the things of God.

John 1:45-46 45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth? “Philip said to him, “Come and see.

Philip the disciple of Jesus found Jesus. He came to Jesus and saw him and believes that He is true messiah. Then Philip did not keep silent. He went to spread the good news. He told Nathaniel, who was sitting under a tree. Philip invited Nathaniel to come and see. He said they had found the one Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote about. Jesus of Nazareth and believing the words of Philip, Nathaniel came to see Jesus and believed in Him.

Proverbs 8:17-18 17I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.

18Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.

What a great blessing it is come and see the truth. The things God performs. When you come to Him you will see greater things and glorify God.

John 4:29 29“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

In the above verse, we see the Samaritan woman found Jesus. She believed He is the true messiah and went to her village. She ran and told them, “Come and see a Man who told me all things that I ever did.” This be the Christ the true messiah? Then at her words and witness, all the people in that village went out to meet Jesus. They saw Him and invited Him to their place. Jesus went and stayed with them for two days. They all believed in Jesus Christ. What a great blessing it is to come and see the things of God and spread good news.

Come to Jesus Christ and see the things He did. Read the Bible and pray. You will know the things of God.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
