Going Before

Mark 16:6-7

6But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

7But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

Jesus Christ after resurrection from the dead was going ahead of the disciples. When Mary Magdalene and other disciples came to see Jesus at the tomb it was empty. He was raised not in the tomb.

The angel of the Lord came from heaven spoke to the disciples do not be alarmed He is risen. He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. Tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee. There you will see Him. This is as He said to you.

The angel of the Lord reminded them of the words spoken by Jesus Christ. He told them He would rise again on the third day. He would then go before them into Galilee.

Mathews 26: 32 But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.

The words that Jesus spoke before the angel of God reminded them. And the disciples went with joy and told the other disciples that Jesus was raised and the tomb is empty.

He is going before us always. He will go before His sheep. He is our chief shepherd and the sheep will follow Him.

John 10:11 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Jesus Christ is our Shepherd and He will lead the sheep in green pastures and still waters. He will walk before us and lead us into eternal life.

1Peter 5:4 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Jesus the Chief Shepherd will give us the reward Crown of glory that does not fade away. What a great blessing it is to follow the true shepherd Jesus Christ who is going before us.

Isaiah 45:2 2‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.

Jesus will go before His sheep and makes the way clear. He will remove all hurdles and make the crooked places straight and keep safe in His protection. He will be your divine guidance and support and give strength.

He is going before us and follow Him and you will find Him and see Him. He will talk to you and He will allow you into His flock. What a great blessing it is to follow Jesus Christ.

Pray to Jesus Christ and follow Him. He will be your shepherd, protector, and guide. He will lead you into a safe place.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
