Luke 24:44-45
44Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
45And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples after His resurrection from the dead. He talked to them about His death, burial, and resurrection. These events were written in scriptures and have been fulfilled. He explained to them and He opened their understanding, that they comprehend the Scriptures written about Him.
It is necessary for the children of God to understand the scriptures and believe in it. God will open the understanding to know the scriptures. Unless He opens, you can’t understand. You seek God to open your understanding to know about scriptures more.
Psalms.119:17-18 17Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.
18Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.
In the above verse, the psalmist prays to God. He asks God to open his eyes to see wondrous things from His law. That I understand thy scriptures and walk in it. It is the Word of God that makes you walk upright. The psalmist humble plea to God for His favor and enlightenment. He prays to God deal with your servant bountifully that he live and walk in the word of God. He seeks the spiritual understanding from God.
God will illuminate your understanding. He will make you understand the scriptures if you seek Him diligently like the psalmist. You will be blessed.
Deal bountifully and open understanding. Illuminate your mind and heart. Open your eyes to see wondrous things in the scriptures. Glorify God.
As a servant of God, I depend on God to understand the scripture. I aim to learn more about the written word and walk accordingly. It is a holy desire to live a life that honors God by keeping His word.
Come to Jesus Christ pray for understanding and to open eyes to see wondrous things in it.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
