Christ Has to Suffer

Luke 24:25-27

25Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

26Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

Jesus Christ, after resurrection, talked to His disciples. He explained the scriptures on how Christ has to suffer for the salvation of the whole world. The prophets have written this in the scriptures.

In the above verse Jesus Christ emphasize that He has to suffer die and rise again. It is written in the scriptures. What was written in the scriptures it will be fulfilled.

Matthew 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Jesus Christ says heaven and earth pass away but word written in the scriptures will never fail. Jesus reminding the disciples ought not the Christ has to suffer these things and to enter into His glory.

Jesus Christ came into this world to serve but not to be served.

Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Jesus Christ emphasizing the love towards humanity and His humility and selfless service. What a great love Jesus Christ showed towards the humanity.

It is a sacrificial love and call for His follower to follow Him and love another as He loves us.

It is the great sacrifice on the cross that made the salvation for all humanity available. Whoever believes in Him and call on His name shall be saved. Do not neglect the great salvation which is offered freely to all. You need to surrender everything. Accept His sacrifice on the cross for you. Invite Him into your life. Then you shall be saved.

What a great blessing it is in Christ Jesus who gave His life a ransom for many.

1 Timothy 2:6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Come to Jesus Christ and pray. Receive the free gift of salvation. Deliverance from sin and death.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
