He Listens
Luke 24:17
17And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
Jesus Christ after resurrection from dead met two of His disciples who were talking together about things happened in Jerusalem and about Jesus Christ. Then Jesus came near to them while they were talking together and asked what you are talking. What kind of conversation is this? Jesus knows about their conversation.
Jesus Christ is silent listener to our every conversation. He listens when the children of God talk about Him and His deeds and come near to them.
Malachi. 3:16 16Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name.
In the above verse we know that God will watch those who fear Him and talk to one another on His word and deeds.
He will watch those who are humble and contrite in their hearts. And also He will rejoice when you talk about His word and deeds.
He will come near you and talk to you and bless you with greater wisdom and understanding. Prepare you to inherit the eternal glory.
What a great blessing it is converse about Him. Many times we neglect the word of God and the great things He has done. Always occupied thinking and talking and watching worldly things which doesn’t belong to God thereby losing His mighty presence. Whenever people of God come together or family together converse about the greatness of God and great things He has done. His marvelous works.
Be away from vain gossip and old wives fables.
1 Timothy 4:7 But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness.
2Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
Psalms 77:11-12 11 I will remember the works of the Lord;Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
12 I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.
Remember His works and talk about His deeds
He will come and be with you and talk to you and bless you.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
Pray to Jesus Christ
