Constrained Him

Luke 24:28-29

28Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther.

29But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.

After resurrection from dead Jesus Christ met His two disciples on the road to their village and talked to them and explained the scriptures clearly. Then when they came near to the village Jesus Christ appeared to go further but the disciples constrained Him saying abide with us. And Jesus Christ accepted their plea and went in to stay with them. What a great blessing it is.

They constrained Him and Said Abide with us.

God always expect our invitation for Him to come and stay with us. Many times we don’t recognize Him and ask of Him to come and stay with us. It is always we try to do our work on our own and depend on our own ability and strength. But when trouble comes and disturbances arise then we think of inviting God into our home and life.

But it is always wise to invite God into our life and into our home to see greater blessings. When God is with us who can be against us.

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

It is true if God is with us who can be against us. No power can withstand against the power of God. God who created the whole universe and controls the entire universe is with us. No opposition can prevail us. What a great blessing.

1John 4:4 4You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

The one who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Jesus Christ conquered death and rose again third day victoriously. Defeated Satan on the cross. No power can prevail against us.

Invite Jesus Christ in your life and home. His presence will overcome any obstacles and any circumstances seem impossible.

In the above verse the disciples constrained Him to come and stay with them. God always wait for your invitation until then He will be outside waiting.

He wants to come in and bless you and dine with you and Provide all your needs and give right direction in your life and lead you into eternal glory.

He will bless you and provide your needs and give right direction.

What a blessing it is to invited Jesus Christ. Come and invite Him.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
