Running Towards Jesus
Luke 24:10-12
10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.
11And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them.
12But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.
Jesus after resurrection from dead was not found in the tomb as the disciples thought. As He said He arose from the dead on the third day and His tomb is empty. When Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and other women with them went and saw the tomb empty and told the same to the apostles the disciples of Jesus Christ. But they could not believe that good news. The woman brought good news that Jesus not in the tomb.
But peter after hearing the news of Jesus tomb empty he arose and ran towards the tomb to see and know the thing happened.
It is Peter who ran towards Jesus Christ. He did not hasten but he ran. It is the zeal towards Jesus Christ that makes to run towards Him
Running towards Jesus Christ and Look towards Him and continue in faith till the end.
Hebrews 12:1-2 1Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith
Looking unto Jesus Christ and Run with endurance the race that is set before us. Set aside every distractions and temptations run towards the goal. Then you will be receiving reward in Heaven.
Luke 19:5-6 5And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.
Jesus said to Zacchaeus make haste do not delay any more. It is your time come to me. This is your hour of visitation. Be saved. So Zacchaeus didn’t delay but he climbed down the tree quickly where he was sitting to watch and ran towards Jesus Christ and invited Him into his house confessed his sins and accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. Jesus Christ said today you receive salvation.
What a great blessing it is to run towards Jesus Christ and receive salvation and eternal blessings. You will become part of Gods family.
Jesus is calling come to me and I will give you rest. Come running towards Him and run for Him in faith till the end and receive reward. Do not neglect or delay His call. Today is the day of Salvation not tomorrow.

Pray to Jesus Christ
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
