Wait on the Promise
Acts 1:4
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me.
Jesus Christ after resurrection from dead has given commandment to wait on promise of God. It is essential for believers in Christ to wait on the promise of God. The one who promised will never fail. He is the promise maker and promise keeping God. He will not lie. He is not like man to lie. It is against His nature.
It is a great blessing to wait on the promise of God and to get the blessings from God. What a great God we have. Never doubt the promise of God. Even it appears to be late in fulfilling He will fulfill His promise. Hold on to His promises. He is faithful and reliable in fulfilling His promises. In all your trials and distress trust in His promises and keep on seeking His help. Ask it will be given and Knock and it will be opened and seek you will find.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
God is not slack concerning His promises. He will fulfill His promises in His time until then wait on His promise. Have steadfast faith in Him. You will be blessed forever.
He is the perfect Promise Keeper. Focus on Jesus Christ and build your trust and faith in God. Jesus Christ is faithful and trust worthy. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit. Jesus Said He would not leave His disciples alone and will send the Holy Spirit to guide them and teach them.
John 15:26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
The Holy Spirit our helper who will guide and teach us and reminding believer of Jesus Words
He will be our guide and teacher and helper.
What a great blessing we have in Jesus Christ. Believe in His promises and seek the Holy Spirit guidance and leading in your daily life.
He is miracle worker and promise keeper.
He does wonders and miracles beyond your comprehension. What a great God He is.
Come to Him and pray. Seek His presence and wait on His promises. Do not get discouraged.
Pray to Jesus Christ
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
