John 21:22
Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”
Jesus Christ after resurrection from dead speaking to His disciple Peter and telling him FOLLOW ME. It is an invitation from Jesus Christ to Peter. Jesus saying look to me and don’t get distracted by any other things in this world, but follow me. Do not go to your old life. Leave all your old nature and life style and follow Me. It is obedience to Jesus Christ and focus on Him with faith.
It is a blessing to follow Jesus Christ who lives forever. He will lead you in right path and into eternal glory. When you are in this world you will face lot of hardships and distractions, but in all the trials and temptations and weaknesses look to Jesus Christ and follow Him. Have faith in Him. Trust His word.
Have faith in Him and Trust His word.
Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
Following Jesus Christ is loving Him and doing His work. Love with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. That is giving first priority to Jesus Christ in all your life. Do the will of God.
The one who called you is faithful and trust worthy. He will lead you and guide in all your life. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
What a great blessing it is to follow Jesus Christ. The one who will take care of us and feed us and meet all our needs.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
It is a promise of God who follows Him. Constant presence of God and protection of God. It is a Gods faithfulness and commitment to His people.
He will not Leave you nor forsake you
Come to Jesus Christ and follow Him. You will get great blessings.
Pray to Jesus Christ
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
