Divine Power
John 21:5-6
Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?”
They answered Him, “No.”
6 And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
Jesus Christ after resurrection from dead appeared to His disciples and asking them children do you have any food. Knowing Jesus asked the disciples. Jesus knows all the night they toiled but failed. They could not catch a single fish. They were in failure and disappointment. Jesus came to them and showed mercy towards them and by His mighty power could perform great miracle. He commanded the disciples to cast the net on right side. All through night they tried in all directions but could not catch fish. But with the help of Jesus Christ and at His command they could catch large number of fish. It is a great miracle.
Jesus divine power and great miracle performed.
All the disciples were astonished at the catch of large number of fish. Believed that they need Jesus in all their activities. It is not just by their experience they could catch fish, but by the guidance of Jesus they will succeed. The question from Jesus Christ as a gentle invitation for them to recognize Jesus Christ divine power and provision, setting the stage for the miraculous catch that follows. Though it is their familiar profession and had experience in that but still they need Jesus Help and guidance.
Help of God and Guidance of God need.
Surrender to the divine power of Jesus Christ. Always invite Jesus Christ into your life. Seek His help and guidance. Without His you cannot succeed.
John 15:5-6 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Without Jesus Christ as a believer you cannot succeed and flourish. If you want to bear fruit spiritually and grow you need to abide in Jesus Christ and walk in guidance of Holy Spirit.
Seek him always in all your life and Invite Jesus Christ. He will come and help you with His divine power. The power will flow in you and through you and see miracles in your life and through you.
Come to Jesus and pray.
Pray to Jesus Christ.
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
