Resurrection Power Forgive

Forgive

John 20:21-23

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Jesus Christ after resurrection from the dead came to His disciples and blessed them with peace and imparted the Holy Spirit. He told them that if you forgive the sins of any they are forgiven. If you retain the sins of any they are retained. It is very important to know that as children of God we need to forgive others. You should not carry any sin inside of you. If you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld. You should not carry any hurt in your heart. And forgiving someone who has hurt us is one of the most difficult things that we will ever do. Let go of resentment and anger in you.  It will remain in you. It says, forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. Show Christ like nature.

You should not carry hate and hurt in you.

Matthews 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

We are asking God to forgive us, just as we have forgiven those who have wronged us. When you forgive others then you will be forgiven by God. But if you don’t forgive others and retain them your sins also not forgiven. As the children of God we need to forgive others and show mercy to others just as Jesus Christ has shown mercy on us and forgiven us. It highlights that our willingness to forgive others is a condition of God’s forgiveness of us. Must have commitment to both asking for forgiveness and extending forgiveness to others.

Matthews 17:21-22 21Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? 22Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Jesus Christ says that children of God are to forgive others without limit, mirroring God’s boundless mercy and grace. The phrase “seventy times seven” in the parable signifies not a specific number of times, but rather an unlimited number of times.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. ‘This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

If you want to be true disciple of Jesus Christ, have forgiveness in your heart. Forgive others just as Jesus Christ forgave you.

Ask God to help you and lead you. Pray to Jesus Christ and accept Him.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life and peace and restore me completely and bless me. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

It was also said : “If you do not forgive others their trespass, so will your heavenly father who not forgive you”

It is a way of say Jesus does not like forbidden things. And our heart sometimes is just pure evil, it is not about loving God or money, it was just for not being the right side of thinking.

And, the sentence come from which book or which chapter I can not remember, because I practice Christianity, Jesus Father looks at us the same as others, but we look ourselves greater than lowly people, we wants them to grow, it is of (self-esteem) a encouraged prideful mind. Therefore, we warn them about the kingdom of God, and forgive them their trespasses. It is a religion they thought of, but in reality, it is a way to living under GOD.

Jesus loves sinners, but when sinner was still in mind without Jesus, we have to tell them why it is like hell, a unforgiven rebellious son.
