Seeking Jesus
Matthews 28:5-7
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come; see the place where the Lord lay. 7And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
Jesus Christ risen from dead and He is not in the grave. His tomb is empty. Death and grave could not hold Him. He is alive and alive forevermore. But the disciples seeking Jesus Christ in the tomb thinking His body is still in the tomb buried. When the disciples came (Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.) come and see the angel of God said, the angels message to the women at the empty tomb, confirming Jesus Christ resurrection as He had predicted. They could not find Jesus Christ body in the tomb, but it is empty. “Fear not That is, “Be not troubled, that you do not find the body of the Savior Jesus Christ. I know that ye seek him, and are troubled that he is removed; but you need not fear that He has been stolen. You will see him again in Galilee. Jesus Christ is not there because He has risen from dead. But the Angel of God sitting there told them why you seek Jesus here in the tomb. He is not here; He is raised from the dead. What a great good news it is. The angel said come and see the place where the body of Jesus Christ placed and know that it is empty. Also command from angel tell His disciples that He is raised from the dead. That is witnessing what they have seen.
Here we find in these verses above. He is not here, He is risen and come and see the place and go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead.
They are seeking Jesus Christ in wrong place. The True Place implies that the search for Jesus should be focused on prayer, Bible study, seeking spiritual guidance, and living a life having fellowship with Christian fellowship.
That seeking Jesus can also involve a personal transformation and a willingness to embrace a more meaningful way of life.Transformed Life. Inner transformation takes place. Have close relationship with Jesus Christ.
When you seek Him diligently you will find Him and He will love you and bless you. He will come to you and be with you.
Jeremiah 29:13 13And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity;
Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.
What a great blessing when you find Jesus Christ and accept Him and your God and Savior.
Come to Jesus Christ and pray
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life and peace and restore me completely and bless me. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
