Great Commission
Matthews 28:18-20
18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Jesus Christ after resurrection from dead met the disciples and spoke to them saying
- All Authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth.
- Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.
- Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.
Assurance of Jesus Christ. Lo, I am with you always
What a great blessing it is. Jesus Christ after conquering death says all power is in His hands. Nothing to fear anymore. Everything is under His control. Nothing will happen without Him. Such a mighty God saying Go and spread the good news of gospel and make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Not only baptizing them but teach them all that I have commanded you. Tell them follow my commandments then you will be blessed.
It is a great commission from our Lord Jesus Christ. Every born again believer must obey the command of Jesus Christ do His work. When you are in His work He will be with you and protect you and strengthen you give you the power to do miracles and signs. When the apostles were doing His work miracles and signs followed. Mighty miracles happened to confirm the Word they preach.
Acts 8:5-8 5Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8And there was great joy in that city.
In the above verses we see how Philip, disciple of Jesus Christ and apostle an early Christian evangelist, brought the gospel to Samaria. He preached Jesus Christ, and the crowds listened and saw the miracles he performed, including the casting out of evil spirits and the healing of the paralyzed. This resulted in great joy within the city.
The good news of Jesus Christ will bring great Joy in the lives of those who listen and accept it. It is the power of God.
Come to Jesus Christ and follow His command. Be good evangelist.

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Thank you Lord for forgiving me and accepting me and giving me eternal life and peace and restore me completely and bless me. Fill me with the power of resurrection. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
