RECEIVE HOLY SPIRIT
John 20: 19-22
19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit
Jesus After resurrection from dead appeared to His disciples and strengthens them. They were in fear and disappointed doors were shut due to fear. In that situation the Victorious Jesus Christ appeared to them and said peace to you. The disciples were greatly disturbed and afraid. Jesus breathed on them to strengthen them and said RECEIVE the HOLY SPIRIT. When the Holy Spirit comes they will be strengthened and understanding of scriptures about Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. Then the fear will go
John 20:9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must raise again from the dead.

- He said receive Holy Spirit
Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
When you are disturbed you need peace not of this world. But peace that surpasses all understanding. And the Holy Spirit to understand the scriptures gets strengthened. The power and presence of God. The Holy Spirit empowers them. Jesus bestowing the Holy Spirit upon them, empowering them to forgive sins and carry on His mission on earth after His departure to Heaven.
Whatever situations you may be facing now do not fear. Jesus wants to empower you with His Holy Spirit and strengthen you to do His work. Do not get discouraged by the situations you are facing now. Jesus knows that here on earth we encounter trouble and sorrow. But He has overcome the world and every earthly obstacle for us.
John 16:33 these things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Believe in Jesus Christ. Do not lose hope. Pray to Him.
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Let my life be a testimony of Your grace. Thank You for giving me a new, Christ-filled life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
