Resurrection Power Eyes Opened

EYES OPENED

Luke 24:30-31

³⁰ Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. ³¹ Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.

Luke 24:14-15

And they talked together of all these things which had happened. ¹⁵ So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself

After Resurrection Jesus appeared to two disciples on the way to their village. He talked to them and He explained to them all the Scriptures the things concerning Him. 

Jesus drew near them and walked with them and talked to them and explained the scriptures and entered their home sat at the table broke the bread. Then their eyes were opened recognized it is Jesus.

Luke 24:13-16 Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And they talked together of all these things which had happened. ¹⁵ So it was, while they conversed and reasoned that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

Jesus drew near to them when the disciples talking and conversing about Jesus resurrection and the things happened in Jerusalem. Our conversation must be holy and not filthy. Holy God will come near us when our conversation is holy. There must be Christian atmosphere in our homes. Also talk about Jesus Christ and about His greatness and glory always. Then you will see Jesus presence with you and in your home always. 

After resurrection Jesus

• Drew near the Disciples
• Walked with them on their way
• Talked to them
• Explained the scriptures
• Entered their home
• Sat at the table
• Broke the bread and blessed them. What a great blessing it is the resurrected Jesus fellowship with His disciples. Finally, their eyes were opened. When we are touched by Jesus our eyes will be opened and could see him and understand Him more. Until then you will be in darkness moving in the darkness.

Luke 24:28-29 ²⁸ Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. ²⁹ But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.

The disciples invited Jesus into their home. They constrained Him to abide with them. Jesus accepted their invitation and came into their house sat at the table broke the bread and blessed them. Their eyes were opened.

Invite Jesus Christ and be blessed your eyes will be opened

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Let my life be a testimony of Your grace. Thank You for giving me a new, Christ-filled life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
