WHY WEEPING

John 20:15

Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”

Here Mary the devotee and the disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, chose to weep. As a devotee to the core, Mary felt compelled to return to the grave to pay respects. She wanted at least the relics of her Lord to be preserved. But alas! Reaching the grave where Jesus body kept, she found even those relics-the mortal remains-missing. Mary had nothing to hold on to. Wasn’t tears, then, a natural response?

But Christ was behind her to extend Resurrection greetings. He had risen. Mary Knew Christ the preacher, Christ the healer, Christ the crucified but never knew Christ the Resurrected. No wonder, she wept.

You would too. With Resurrection as a historical fact, if you weep, you are wasting your tears. The gift of Christ’s resurrection is offered and you have not claimed it yet!

There could be no greater good news. Your sin-debt has been paid fully.

The Bible says in John:1:29.

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 

It is power of sin defeating you again and again. Sin clings and sin enslaves. It affords pleasure now blinding you to the pains of hell-fire tomorrow.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confess every know sin and receive Him into your heart. 

The Bible says in 1John 1:9. 

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

You will be set free from sin, sickness and sorrow by the power of resurrection.

COME TO JESUS AND SAY THIS PRAYER.  LORD JESUS I AM A SINNER AND I ACCEPT THAT YOU DIED ON THE CROSS FOR ME AND BURIED AND ROSE AGAIN THIRD DAY. LORD JESUS SAVE ME FORGIVE ME AND GIVE ME ETERNAL LIFE. I INVITE YOU INTO MY HEART AND LIFE TO BE MY LORD AND SAVIOR. THANK YOU LORD FOR FORGIVING ME AND ACCEPTING ME AND GIVING ETERNAL LIFE. AMEN
